THE MEDIEVAL TOWN OF BEAULIEU-SUR-DORDOGNE, FRANCE VAN TRIP, SEPT 2021.

We spend a fabulous late summer day exploring the gorgeous medieval town of Beaulieu-Sur-Dordogne.
We follow a 'very helpful monk', meandering through the picturesque streets, visiting the abbey church of St Pierre, which is all that remains of the Benedictine abbey founded here in the 9th Century, and finish the day with a lovely walk along the banks of the Dordogne river.
An absolutely beautiful town, well worth a visit if travelling through Limousin.
