@@SMashborn Although I agree with your original sentiment, Fuze (the author) really disagrees. The shit that was revealed in some extra content he wrote really paints a very different perspective into things and there is no real way to reveal them without getting into some massive massive spoilers.

Especially since Diablo may be really cool but his personality tends to rub the people he interacts with the wrong way.

Not rly, they might get some short term gains trying to fool Rimuru politically, but they know Rimuru can delete their countries in an instant if he wants to, it wouldn't be smart to mess with him

@@EinTheVariance I never said anything about fooling Rimuru politically. Erald and Gazel make up for Rimuru's inexperience and give him advice. Also, jokes on you. Other countries, even knowing Rimuru is a Demon Lord, will try to take advantage of him in later episodes. In fact, Season 3 will have quite a bit politicking in it.

Definitely going to get more politics so I'm glad that you're enjoying it. It's going to be another series of action based bangers soon enough. Thankfully there's going to be some comedy to alleviate some of the tension.

Matter of fact is that Shion has one of the most broken abilities in the story and could have become a literal omnipotent god if the wife, sorry I mean Raphael hadn't put a halt on her evolution.

Rimuru in the span of the 2 years has ... Befriended an Evil Storm Dragon. United all the monster tribes (plus the Orcs) in Jura. Defeated a newly born demon lord. Became a demon lord. Formed a fully self sustaining nation from dirt. Befriended 2 Demon Lords. Decimated an entire nation's military force. Usurped a monarchy. Befriended two of the most powerul Demon Lords. And thats not even counting his OP abilities.

The 3rd point "still" not correct. Jura forest is far bigger then you are thinking. Rimuru united all races upto the "riverside". So there are more races exist to unit on the otherside of the river.

It's not farmace entire military only what they could muster immediately. And without help of several lords that either didn't support this or shouldn't have gotten a cut from the spoils. Rimuru only rules a part of Jura currently

To understand true dragons are essentially gods and they cannot be killed. You can seal them or temporarily destroy them, but they will revive, the disadvantage is that they will change who they are personality wise when reviving. So a wild one like Veldora might become a calm one or one that is truly evil.

That is true for all naturally pure Spiritual Beings ... like Demons ie Diablo and his kind ... if they are killed they are weakened a bit but revive after some time, unless they are destroyed in a way to prevent it ... ie what Kuro-Diablo did to Orthos at the end of S1 - what happens with Ramiris is also a good example of that

@@Ower8x Ramiris wasn't originally like that, she became that way for Milims sake and she does not lose herself in the process. It originally is only a thing for the true dragon's. For the true hero it is not supposed to be like that, but she involves time travel hijinks to create a loop that results in a self-fulfilling prophecy.

@@seynoonrae2474I am aware but she was a spiritual being that would be reborn if killed ... which is part of her original nature that she retained after she was transformed ... as she remained a spiritual being even after her race changed ... She did not become that way for Milim but because of Milim a slight but important difference ... She interveened during the If remember correctly 7 day and night slag fest between Guy and a rampaging Milim ... and snapped her our of her rage ... but as a result of get being bathed in Demonic and Draconinc energies of the 2 fighters she was transformed ... Nope Demons had this trait from the beginning other purely spiritual beings like spirits and angels as well, We learn about Demons working like this During Vol 7 Spoilers: mentioned by the chief eastern exorcist during the confrontation with diablo .... when mulling over what Diablo evolving .. the chief thinks that that would involve being undefeated for over 2000 years ... which is hard to imagine as defeat meant being killed and while the demon would reform after time the defeat meant losing part of his max power cap ... kind of like naming can do to someone. later we learn angels work basically the same and as the third in the triad Spirits work the same. The Reason for this is that spiritual being have stronger astral bodies and their memories and skills are inscribed fully on it so unless that is destroyed they are able to reconstitute themselves after time even if their Spiritual Body is destroyed which is what happens on a death ... but for non full spiritual beings the astral body is to fragile to survive without its spiritual body and the core enters the "cycle of reincarnation." where after time a new astral body accumulates around the core - creating a new being and then a spiritual and or material body on birth ...

Hinatas sword "dead end rainbow" deals spiritual dmg and ensures a kill at the 7th hit. Its basically like a rare weapon , but hinata has at least two other swords that are more powerful with even better haxs. Everything we have seen of her was so far was casual effort. Also to put some 2+2s together: Yuuki and hinata were both students of shizu, they know each other for very long and are friends. They also meet up somewhat regularly, so the there was no reason to doubt him when he said rimuru killed shizu. Yuki did this expecting 1.)rinurus death, because he thought of him as a future threat, cuz he gets more powerful so fast. 2.)Also he should not be in tempest, so that falmuth could destroy it and the demon lord claiman can absorb all those souls without notice and awaken. Claiman is one of the clowns and works with/for yuki. (Claiman is replacement for demon lord kazalim that got defeated by leon cromwell some time ago. He and leon are enemies) 3.)But also to lure hinata away from luberios, so laplace can take a look at the place. This didnt work out because of the vampire demon lord roy valentine tho.

Meeting arc indeed lol, this is where lots of people get bored because they need more action or they can't wait for the plot to move forwards. Also, if you like the whole politics side of these type of anime, Overlord is pretty good with it, but nothing beats Log Horizon imho, truly a 10/10 in my eyes, you guys should watch it even if it is in your spare time as i don't really know how popular that'd be for reaction content. "I hate politicians" who doesn't? politicians and activists, people looking out to push their agenda rather than trying to acknowledge people think differently and we should try to coexist and come to agreements, smh.

6:06 100% agree, I do prefer Albis though, being a lamia I wonder if she's cold blooded like a snake, if so I'd love cuddling with her during the summer heat to cool myself off.
