Thien-An Truong I wouldn’t say bad at all because it’s easy to understand it while reading which is perfect. Anyways, in the movie it’s explained that the squid and megalodon are trapped down there because it’s covered with acid or something like that, so the megalodons were only able to escape due to the submarine passing through said acid. Which means if they would’ve all died down there the shark would’ve never gotten into the open ocean.

That squid probably weighs 20 tons over a 25 meter length. This movie has taught me that a squid applying 0.00128 tons of pressure per cubic cm is greater than the 9 tons of pressure per square cm in the Mariana trench (probably greater).
