How do you find getting them in the back? I have a 4 month old and I'm moving up from a Clio 182, I can't fit his rear facing behind the driver so my poor partner is pushed right up to the dash for my son to sit behind!

Nice review, I had an R26 but had to sell it when kids came along. When they got older bought a 250 full fat! Had it for about 6 yrs now and still love it. Renaultsport are the masters of hot hatchery 😁👍

Ive driven a lot of RS Meganes, including a 225 F1 in blue out in the South Australian desert (TLDR - fecking fast and the Cup chassis comes into its own on choppy patchy outback roads at 200kph++), but am currently in a bog standard Meg2 sedan complete with a non turbo version of the F4R RS engine. All I have is some eibach lowering springs and some bilsteins. Its my second beater car, we have a nice high end Guilietta as our main drive. But with a mere 99kw, the standard Meg2 still has 90% (o, maybe 80....) of the fun and character. Renault just do great chassis tunes, regardless of the engine.

I agree completely with regarding the cars fantastic handling, like you I've gone from a 182 to r26, mine is about 270. The car doesn't feel as quick as I hoped as it's so well planted until you look at the Speedo lol, another good vid 👍

Thank you! That’s kind of how I feel about mine too. It’s fairly punchy and can carry some serious pace through the corners. It just doesn’t have the same ‘raw’ sense of speed/fun as the Clio. 270 must be pretty nice!

Hello! great review. what do you think between clio rs 197 and megane rs r26 f1?

The 197 is not as good as standard, but the chassis is way better than the previous generation Clio. 197 is more raw. The R26 is far more capable of a car as standard, and IMO more special due to the limited run and ties to Renaults F1 win. A modern classic.
