11:55 If you go to the Dollar Store (or your local equivalent) and get a set of cheap measuring spoons, you can get the pigment powders out of the bags and into the small mixing cups a lot easier and with fewer spills... They will also help with large Resin Projects as you can precisely measure the pigments into each batch of Resin making Colour Matching the different batches/layers a LOT simpler...

Here's my paused prediction, I'm thinking it will heat up and the wax from the crayons will float to the top but hopefully mix together swirly and melty... hopeful I guess? - yay I'm glad it didn't all float up, just the big parts? Good call on the orb, the color was definitely like a dragon ball Haha. Love the stand idea as well, the light really brings the sparkle!

Having seen what happens to most folks and myself with shavings, they should all wind up sinking, but since you are using resin much like the stuff I use, I really don't know what will happen. I hope the resin and the shavings do something super freaking cool man. Thanks for the video as well, see you at the end!
@ScottsSpeedShop3 жыл бұрын
after seeing what happened in the pressure pot, why not try just a single color of crayon or different shades of that color
@NavyVeteran17763 жыл бұрын
Ok for the next crayon project I have an idea. Not sure how it would work but that’s where your brain comes in lol. Find a way to protect the top half of the crayon. Take the paper off the bottom like you did before. Then set them in resin facing up like they are standing on the table. Then as they melt it will melt the bottoms.

I THINK IT'S AWEŚOME!!!!! TO USE CRAYONS TO CREATE A STAND IS AMAZING!!! MOST PEOPLE OF NON-CREATIVE MIND'S WON'T GET IT , BUT PEOPLE WITH ARTISTIC CAPACITY WILL GET THE CONCEPT STRAIGHT AWAY. IT'S THE ABILITY TO BLEND COLOUR WITH A TASTE OF IMAGINATION. WE NEED OUR LOVE OF COLOUR AND ABILITY TO IMAGINE THAT MAKES US , ARTIST'S AND OUR ABILITY TO USE SEVERAL DIFFERENT MEDIUMS TO GET THE MOST OUT OF OUR PROJECTS.

I think it will either mix together as it solidifies so that you get pockets of brown or it could all stay perfectly encased I don't know the melting point of crayons vs how much heat is being produced. Also speaking as someone who has "given" flesh and blood to virtually every grater that I've owned watching you scrape the crayons gave me anxiety so glad you didn't get hurt :) Addendum: holy cow that worked great! when I was a kid I had a toy that would shine constellations on you ceiling and had a bunch of different plates that you could use that had different starscapes and constellations. this looks so much like how I thought it would before I used it. like you're walking among the stars. absolutely amazing!
