@@georgieegames to explain very fast, "memes" are the same as "genes", but instead of being "organic materials that are both shared and transformed to create other and/or more organic materials", it's the same... but for ideas. And internet memes are really really close to this very same definition, so it's not really a problem to use "memes" to refer to them, but just remember that, firstly and foremost, it means "ideas that are both shared and transformed to create other and/or more ideas". Ofc, I made it so short that a lot got lost in the explanation, but I'm obviously not really fan of the idea to make a whole a** three hours lesson in a youtube comment section :c Hope you understand lol

@@nyseetem You're right, and here's my attempt to put it simpler Charles Dawkins coined the word meme to put the concept of an idea that is passed to others in a shorter form for brevity. A meme can be shared across generations through teachings, or between peers like what's done on a lot of our social media. Memes are like the DNA of the soul. In an abstract sense, they are what comprise beliefs and what mould attitudes. And as for how it plays out... well, you know how things your parents and grandparents did or said get old and uncool? A meme is not unlike a species; it must adapt to stay relevant with the times or pass into obscurity. And the culture of a people-group is not unlike an ecosystem, where memes may clash, mesh and otherwise exist. If you'd like a take on things, telling someone 'Your memes are inferior' is basically saying you reckon what they decide should be passed on to others isn't worth keeping.

The reason raiden had trouble with the two cops when an entire army of robots couldn’t stop him is because Sam (the markiplier lookin dude) somehow hacked him into the cops minds so raiden was basically hearing them thinking about how they didn’t want to fight and how they’d never get to see their families again while he killed them

I still love the fact that the part where he says the soundtrack was made by the Toontown Online composer sounds like a joke, but no, it's actually real, and if I recall this was his first time composing this kind of music, which is also amusing. Really Rising Revengeance is just a gift, and it's neat that it's gotten a resurgence in the past few years.

Parrying in MGR is actually really easy. You push the stick forward in the direction of whatever is attacking you and press the attack button which will block the attack with a generous window, but a perfect parry done just at the frames where the attack connects gets you a counter that usually outright kills the enemy and allows you to steal the spinal fluid via the cutting mechanic. The only downside is there are some moves which require dodging because it usually results in a grab that you sometimes can't buttonmash your way out of, and the only was to dodge is to buy a move that let's you leap out of the way while making a single attack by pressing the attack and jump button simultaneously. But all in all parrying is easy to pick up and becomes muscle memory to master. Unless you want to fully no damage S rank every encounter on every mission in Revengeance mode and then you get to monsoon and his many utilities of s rank denying bullshit like being hit directly with his smokescreen grenades and losing .01 percent of your lfebar literally so get ready to restart over and over for hours just to finally do it and see on the end screen that you missed one encounter so you wasted all that time for a botched run anyway. I'm totally not hashing out my grievances from like seven years ago.

Parrying in MGR is so easy even I can do it consistently. Just hold your stick towards the enemy and press light attack within a quarter of a second or so of the attack connecting. I’d say this makes the parry too strong but many enemy types have attacks that can’t be parried.

'meme's as we use the term is sort of a descendent of the original meaning. The simplest way to describe it is that if a Gene is a 'unit' of biological information, then a Meme is a 'unit' of cultural information. Metal Gear has always had a lot of commentary on social engineering, using technology and things like social media as a way to manipulate or distract people, and the way that governments intentionally perpetuate conflict for war profiteering. The games are nigh incomprehensible with how batshit their plots are, but it does 100% make sense for a game with its finger so on the pulse of the way technology affects the way people communicate to have something to say about social media. We may joke about memes, and memes themselves may be jokes, but we are unironically (and sometimes very unfunnily) affected by them as a culture. This game actually engages with those effects without pretense.

All this music that you like is a boss themes. They played through all fight and speed up in crucial moments. Its because developers use specoal music-engine that knows then you must give max bass. @@georgieegames Its strange that only some japanese developers use this technology, but it made boss-battle so much better. For example in MGR in first boss battle then raiden must catch boss weapon this music engine shorten some parts to bring main part with scream "RULES OF NATURE!!!!!" in exact moment then Raiden catch boss hand. This game developers made many good but unpopular games mostly because their director are very bad at marketing( But Bayonetta and Vanquish are also mus play( And yeah all theor games are really short 10 hours max. MGR can be completed in 5 hours.
