The five love languages is a pretty popular book. They used to have the Author on one of the popular Christian stations my parents used to listen when I was a child, but it was written in back in 1992! There’s a quiz online that helps determine what you perceive to be/how you best receive love and I think it can be helpful information in any type of friendship/relationship! Ie) If words of affirmation is my love language but my significant other’s is physical touch, his physical displays of affection may not mean as much to me. I could be feeling like my “love tank” is close to empty because I haven’t received the words of affirmation I crave, while he thinks he’s doing a great job showing his love. The purpose of the 5LL is basically to allow you and the other person to effectively communicate your love for one another.

Dr Gary Chapman still comes on Moody Bible Institute radio on Saturday afternoons . The name of the show is Building Relationships with Dr. Gary Chapman.. People call and leave their questions and Dr. Chapman answers . There was a Christian movie that was based on the book, I believe the film is entitled Firestarter.. He has many books, now I believe the latest is The Five Apology Languages.

I just became acquainted with pop the balloon and the reviews. While I enjoy these reviews, this couple talks in absolutes. “Everyone…most…etc”. In regards to the “ride or die” conversation, I think she was saying “that’s a man’s perspective” to mean “you’re a man, and ride or die is usually more beneficial to the man, and that’s why you don’t understand me seeing it as a negative.” I see where she’s coming from, but I think she’s dating on defense. She doesn’t understand that she’s basically telling the men “I’m not loyal,” when she’s meaning to say “I won’t blindly submit.”

About wanting a leader/provider, it’s about trust. People are entering relationships when they struggle with trust or continue to be with someone that they don’t trust. If you trust your partner you’ll let them lead. Instead of saying you want a provider or you’re a ride or die people should focus on building trust and getting to know someone. Cause you can say you’re a provider all day and night but can I trust the words. I wish they were required to provide examples/show your work when they give answers like in job interviews. Like oh you’re adventurous tell me about your last adventure.

The love language has been around for at least a decade, people just recently have been starting to actually read and do research on their partners. A lot of therapist offer and suggest these books so that way can learn other peoples communication style and how differently it is than you, especially when it comes to how they expressed their love. being able to figure out how your partners love is expressed you are able to love them better and it reduces divorce

History shows Women have gotten smarter and not staying in bad relationships. There was a time when women stayed because they had to or because they loved him even though the relationship was not good. On the other hand, the past show men expected women to put up with bad behavior or the bad marriage which is very much still going on today. This could be the reason men did not file. But again studies show women are more educated making more money and don’t need to take abuse. They want to be happy so they file for divorce

How can she compare and choose between what she can’t see? I get your point but maybe Arlette and BM need to EXTEND THE SET a little or change the lineup angle so that the contestants have room to see better. Respectfully, you seem to make a lot of judgments based solely from _your_ limited or biased perspective (like saying Love Languages just became a thing since the panini just bc YOU hadn’t heard of it sooner) instead of compelling that maybe _you_ have the limited perspective and the person who’s aggravating you is actually acting reasonably for _their_ perspective. Step back, my guy! 😅
