I recently, like in the past 2 weeks, have been acquiring a goat deck. I played back in the beginning of yugioh but stopped playing from 2010 - 2017. Came back and was mostly involved with modern competitive, while still collecting older cards here and there. After downloading project ignis and seeing what goat format is I decided to get back involved with it on a more serious level. It's very nostalgic and somehow more personal to me. I hope to see more goat content and I hope to see it become more popular because it really is a special thing in yugioh, for alot of people.

By their own definition of a card being legal, needlefiber is not currently tcg legal. Don't get me wrong I think universe is a very good card but I also think it shouldn't be played because of how much skill it takes out of the format.

YugimonMaster10 they explained it poorly imo. Cybernetic Revolution was released in North America August 6 2005. But booster sets weren’t legal right away at release. The set became legal for tournament play September 1st 2005. Exarion Universe official release was September 1st 2005, but card shops got the tin early and certain shops were letting people play with the card in local tournaments even though the tin wasn’t officially released. But what I’m getting at is both Exarion Universe and Cybernetic Revolution became Legal for tournament play on the exact same day September 1st 2005. So therefore if you are going by tcg legality there was never a point in which Exarion Universe was legal for official tournaments but Cybernetic Revolution was not as well.

The other thing with Perovics goat list that had Exarion. In that tournament Cyber dragon was legal he just wasn’t running it adding to the confusion. Most people play goat format through August 1st. But goat control wasn’t hit on the forbidden list until October and was still a prominent deck at the time. So one could argue a goat format where both Cybernetic Revolution and Exarion Universe are playable, but one can not be included without the others inclusion.

I was just replying to him under the assumption he only saw this video and thought the reasoning you guys aren’t for Exarion was just because it was busted and that there wasn’t a tournament with it yet. Because of his comment about Needlefiber and us not having any tournaments right now. Thought maybe he was misunderstanding the reasoning people aren’t including it as goat anymore.

YugiNoNo but anyways I really been enjoying this series and it’s great for goats because even though there are some good small channels you’re really the only big yugituber trying to go this in depth with goat format. And hopefully this series will expand goats to a bigger audience and will lead to more shops holding tournaments in the future. And it’s crazy but I think there is potential for regional and maybe even ycs size goat tournaments some day.
