I loved Quesada's Daredevil stuff. The stuff he did with Kevin Smith. It's amazing how good that is compared to how bad Spider-man became. Essentially it's still bad because they 1)promised people a whole lot of things they couldn't pay off, 2)some of it was awful to begin with and 3)put out the worst piece of garbage ever. Amalgam was really neat. Great one shots that are well written. Spider-man comics are a joke now. After that terrible Unmasking thing Nothing's going to happen anymore. Ever!

Joe is amazing he and the colorist on this book ushered in a new era of realism that gave me respect for Kevin Smith who I hated because he gave the Batfleck his start. Can't stand Batfleck. Sorry for the whole industry because of that fuck.

I simply can't knock the man's art....but that is the problem. unlike some of the greats at Marvel (and DC, and other companies and manga too)...the man is an artist. he is NOT a writer. why the fuck should anyone have ever listened to him on his story ideas
