I honestly thought that i will never see myself crewing that Copter with the Rhino on a video besides the coverage... Thanks man for bringing back all those memories from the WMC16! That was a play for Top8 btw :) Fun fact: everyone was, literally everyone was laughing how can Siege Rhino get inside of a Copter? It was a flavor joke, that both teams (mine, Macedonia and our opponent, Australia) and the coverage team were laughing even after the match :) to bad we didnt make the top 8 I also had to two Gideon, Ally of Zendikar in SB ;)

@@stalememesygo7520 standard format is always a mixed bag and can be a very different experience from expansion to expansion. I would definitely recommend trying MTG Arena, since it's free and really is better experience than MTGO, before buying anything.

Ok so. This shit right here. These kinds of videos are what I love. I have never played MTG a day in my life. I do play yugioh though. But there's no videos like this for my game. I've been binge-watching you and other MTG videos for like 2 weeks now and I'm about to buy a few pre mades and learn to play. The game seems so fun and a lot slower passed and I love it. I've noticed an increase in "siege rhino esque " cards being legendary now. I bet if siege rhino was released today it would be legendary . Questing beast seems like the best example. I bet if it wasn't a legend it would see more play

Also 4 was the magical number for a lot of KOT removal. Being pushed to 5 means it couldn't be removed by Sarkhan's minus, Mardu charm or Stoke the Flames

I remember the developers saying that the Abzan wedge was underperforming compared to the others in their internal testing so they felt it needed a boost. They were genuinely shocked that it ended up being the dominant strategy in Standard.

With the current power level of modern cards, Siege Rhino has been shown to be too weak, and so has been errataed to have Menace and also vigilance to balance its colour pallet -- real actual Wizard card maker person

(otherwise known as "Let's make this game as fast as YuGiOh") There has been a lot of design and balance issues in that game, but I'd kill for a full power Sherry or Gill vs what is top tier in the game now. I imagine it is like you guys and Siege Rhino. Broken at the time but still somewhat respectable, vs unfun uninteractive nonsense. I don't play Magic, but hearing what the formats are like, it sounds somewhat similar (though with less power-creep than FoW)
