Nobody understands the thoughts and feelings of someone that's been abused unless they've been through it themselves. I was abused by a family member from the age of 5-12. I had to see that person go about their life and continue to abuse other children. My thoughts about him were dark. If the Mendendez brothers were abused I'm sure they had a breaking point. What they did wasn't right but the people abusing them were not right either. Did all that even make sense??

I believed the brothers when they stated their Father molested them, and that their Mother knew the Father was molesting them and just looked the other way. They were telling the truth therefore they had the right to defend themselves against this predator. The other victims are telling the truth too. The Father was a Child Molester and often the Mother knows. She was left alone by that pig because his abuse was no longer directed towards her so she was no longer being abused so she kept her mouth shut. She was afraid of her husband too.

They pre-planned the murder of their parents. The money they would inherit was more important than any alleged abuse they claim was suffered, as shown by how quickly they went on a massive spending spree before their arrests. They were not kids, they were adults who could have moved away and set up their own lives, or they could have reported the abuse. (But they wouldn't get their money then, woukd they?) Their smirks in the early days, changed to faux victimhood for the camera's in more recent times. Their parents are serving life, so should they. People are serving life sentences for less.

Abused boys abused in EVERY WAY by both parents . And driven to kill their abusers by an irrational fear they were about to be killed. A majority of.jurors in both trials ( 3 juries) Thought they were guilty of MANSLAUGHTER ... If the 2nd trial was not filled with so much corruption, the boys woukdve been allowed to put on their defense (* and were able to call the 51 abuse witnesses) and if there jury was allowed the option to vote manslaughter ... they woukdve been convicted and released after 25 years. But because the DA's office was so desperate for a conviction after losing 3 high profile trials in a row. ( mcmartin, Rodney King ,Simpson) Thry made sure a conviction was secured by giving the jury 2 options, 1st degree murder or acquittal . Since the bots had admitted their guilt. The jury was FORCED to convict them ! You call thrm "sick" Would you feel the same way if they were 2 daughters ??? I'm sorry. They comitted a brutal act but they are not sick. The sick ones were their parents. Jose raped them and Kitty knew yet she looked the other way .

I have been a victim of SA/RA*E and that is why i have every reason to saying that abuse is NOT a excuse to murder 2 people or your parents no matter how powerful they may have or may not have been.LM is more like his father he has done the very thing's he himself has accused his father of and he has also manipulated many people around him including his brother and if he couldn't have manipulated Eric then there would have been 3 people murdered that day but he had a use for Eric. LM displayed enjoyment in the crime at least EM showed remorse for the act he committed. But LM was all about the money,power,women and drug's. He may have been abused or he may well have got the idea from the book he was reading at the time given to him by the attorney. The jail calls that you can get via a foia request as well as other information not widely reported tells a different story to what the convicted double murders have said in the past and the thing's they had recently been trying to push. A little bit of advice. Don't assume that people who have been through abuse will agree with you because they don't. Also people have been through worse and still didn't do what they did. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

You DO realize the first trial was a hung jury right? 19 days of deliberation and they could not unanimously agree on a verdict So much for the case being a slam dunk the prosecution thought it was. A majority of jurors voted manslaughter . It was split down gender lines, with men refusing to accept that a father could rape his sons..( of course today we all know better and had they been tried today ,they woukdve been. Convicted of manslaughter and been released after serving 25 years. If course the miscarriage of justice that was the 2nd trial. It l was rigged . They were not allowed a defense. Including 51 abuse witnesses that testified in the 1st trial .the same biased pro prosecution judge presided . The jury only had 2 options. 1st degree murder or acquittal . Since they admitted their guilt ,the jury was forced to convict them of 1st degree After the trial that jury said had they known the extent of the abuse , they would not have convicted them ..

Parents shouldn't violate and brutalize their children either. They should not hate their children. These people were NOT parents to them. Do you stop and wonder why it is their extended family. Siblings of Jose AND kitty support the boys And want them out , Joan, kitty's older sister says she has never been able to forgive KITTY for how SHE treated Erik and Lyle ., Jose's sister said her brother WAS A MONSTER ! That speaks volumes for siblings of the 'victins' to be so supportive of the ones who killed them. 24+ members of the family have always been on Lyle abd Erik's side.

Parents don’t have the right to X-abu$e their children, mentally control and manipulate them through adult age. Children are GODs Gift. It’s true they should have seek help and they did with family members, Who turned their backs. After the death and addictions of family members due to the incarceration of the brothers, the family is now speaking. You heard the family members testify that they knew but never reported it. They were afraid as children and the fear only intensified through adult age until they snapped and saw the only way out.
