Great video. Thanks. Section 136C Of MHA is another good one. The power to search someone under section powers. Good to know in case challenged why they were searched rather than the old 'its just what we do'

Thanks Hayley. It is nice to see mental health being discussed within a policing context. Keep up the good work. Also, how come The Mental Health act is only a year younger than me? It seems like this should be much more recent, given the steps forward in how mental health is approached.

I wasn't in a good place in the late 80s. I went to see a psychiatric doctor and I explained that I had been burning my self and he said I suggested you come on the ward for a couple of days . I said no because I had to get the children from school. He said its up to you but we suggest it I didn't go but now they don't seem to care 😢. So very sad.

Can you explain can you get section on the mental health act in the United States instead of the UK but can you get section by the I have the United States that’s what I’m looking for because the UK in the United States are different
