I just rewatched this episode on a fluke today and ten minutes ago found out this actress died. She was great and this was always one of my favorite episodes.

@@phillipc4460 Yes you are so right, when I first got to see the first series in 2008 it really stood out as an exceptionally good episode with strong clever script and brilliant actors.

She made a really good Irene Alder to Jane's Sherlock Holmes I wish she had appeared more often Edit: You know I think she was supposed to return for a future episode, but didn't for whatever reason besides her passing
