This was one one of my favorite scenes ever. Jane's "family" talking to him ab Lisbon, Wylie and Vega finally, Cho becoming the boss, Abott being so happy, Abott and Lina, Jisbon confesion and the cutest scene and dance. The only thing that is missing are Rigsby and Van Pelt

Everyone was so happy here... especially Wylie and Vega 😭💕 it destroys me to know that it would be the last moment of happiness... seeing it again it's even incredible to see how Jane's presentiment/fear ends up coming true but in another member of the team.. 😞 He is so sad and worried when he tells Lisbon that he doesn't want to lose her 🥺🥺 even so she manages to get that smile out of him in the end 😍 now she is the one who asks him to dance... reminiscent of the episode of the high school party where he He was the one who invites her to dance 💕

And the Red John situation was a particularly unique situation because Jane blamed himself. If Lisbon died in the line of fire, he might (and I realize he was closer to Lisbon than Vega) act similar to how Vega died, do everything he can to stop them but not go full Liam Neeson in taken.

He had plenty of chances to commit suicide and never did so. If Teresa was killed Jane would absolutely one hundred percent avenge her, and even afterwards would stay alive for the sake of their baby. Way to try overanalyzing a throwaway comment about the incontrovertible evidence of Jane's ability to take revenge. Christ, you're a bore.

In CBI Lisbon was the Agent in charge and I did wonder why Abbott chose Cho to be the boss over Lisbon. Maybe it was a mysogonistic decision but then I thought he made that decision because he knew that Lisbon and Jane were starting a new life together which may involve children and he wanted to leave her path clear without impediment. Just thoughts really 😊

I think there are multiple reasons. For one Cho went through the FBI training in Quantico and joined the FBI slightly earlier. Secondly, Cho sort of already act like Lisbon’s boss or at least her equals ever since they are in FBI. I also feel that Cho’s personality fits the way FBI operates for some reason. Lastly, of course the reason that you mentioned in which I believe Lisbon will happily accept too.
