She didn't fix him ! She was the light at the end of the tunnel of his darkness. She was always there for him but he couldnt leave the dark and fully love her until he killed red john and escape the memory of the past that still haunted him . But in the end he found the happiness he lost again

She fixed him, and he fixed her. She had given up hope of a personal life at the start of the series, according to the pilot episode's script. He was a broken man when he arrived at the CBI. Killing RJ was only half the job, he had to feel worthy again. She needed someone who could tell her how he felt about her, who knew her professional and personal pasts and don't get scared away. They found each other. If only we're half as lucky.

She was his hapinness. In the first episode he smiles when she smiles with his paper frog... Later remembers his pain and went to his old House. Finally he went to new home, the BIC's couch, closer to her. Finally he bought a paradise lake to live with her. She gave him somenthing he never thought...peace and hope, she was his sun. The rainbow after the storm. Now remember his old family with peace and star a new one and feels he deserved it. In the las episode when he knew about to be a father agsin with her, truly was happy and the series ends with Patrick smiling and crying of hapiness. A paralelim about his first episode final whe he was alone in the darkness and floor of his old bedroom under the RJ smiling face.
