I took acid and went skiing the day before I went to meow wolf. I went to meow wolf for my birthday having no clue what it was other than an interactive art museum. Got there and was like bruh this would've been perfect lmao. Oh well it was cool as shit and that skiing on lsd was my best lsd trip by far.

Haha that's what happened to us! We went to Meow Wolf. About a year later we were trying to decide where in the US we wanted to move. My son (4 at the time) said he wanted to move to Meow Wolf. And here we are! Been here in NM a year now and we love it :)

Went here the other day, I had such an amazing time, I feel like I’ve opened my third eye, the art was just absolutely breathtaking, the carnival of trash and the gorgeous blacklight undersea was so pretty, all the secrets and the way it all goes back to the house is so cool, I hope I get to visit again next year to try and figure out the story with my family

The few comments about Needing to take drugs and visit are cracking me uppp🤣 Optional,.. sure [FreeWill]..perhaps not recommended for most. This place in itself was created to awaken and tickle the senses, so using a substance which serves the same purpose seems.. unnecessary.. and with definite potential for sensory overload of sorts (esp. By those saying they'd NEED such a thing at a place like this..it's clearly a trip in itself!) I fully support the use of psychedelics in a sacramental/therapeutic/aid in creative expression kinda way, but I think those saying 'you'd need to be high to go thru here' etc, are perhaps.. apprehensive to have such a vivid and previously unfathomable experience.. kind of like trying to explain alien races and the vastness of the universe to your super conservative grandparents..to which they respond "are you ok honey, are you sure you're not using drugs?" 🙃 This magical place is so far from being traditional, conservative or reformed, and reaches/pulls from the depths of human imagination that people aren't always comfortable exploring, which often comes with the assumption / association of drug use("'shit's so crazy weird, whoever made this had to be high!"'), but that's what makes it so amazing; a showcase of brave & unapologetic creativity. The real question is why have we been previously lead to repress this type of creativity & expression?[[a rabbit hole to a whole new thread/topic that I won't carry on about]] The group of artists that created this wonderland have beautifully illustrated the potential of the human imagination, and the ability to manifest your wildest/weirdest/most far out dreams/visions/waking life experiences 《---True Artists! If anything, save your drugs and use them to create your Own living art, that can inspire others while in turn adding value to your life, those you share it with, & generally making the world a bit better of a place. Also Love that this video highlights people from a variety of ages & backgrounds, with various intentions & expectations visiting, & being open to the experience.
