The Marco Polo is Mercedes-Benz's own camper van converted by Westfalia, an extremely rare model that sleeps 4! It comes with its own kitchen, pop-up roof, on-board water supply, on-board waste water, fridge/freezer, sink and even two gas burners!
Today I show a brief overview on the many features that make this an amazing and well thought out camper van!

Thank you, Nick. Another informative video. The Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo is actually one of dream cars. I would take the new one with MBUX, though. Perfect for a long road trip and camping very far away from civilization. I would love to travel in it, most likely alone like I would with the new GLE. Nick. Don’t know if you have talked about the Dash CAM in 2021 GLE 350 SUV or not. How to use. Does it automatically record if you leave in the USB dongle. Does it automatically record if someone hits your car while the car is parked? Those kinds of details. Great and informative details. Keep up the great work.

@@npoleary Thanks Nick. Couple questions on key fobs. Have you heard of a key fob "sleep mode"? If not used for a while, fob enters this mode to conserve battery life. Also, disabling signal emitted from fob to prevent unauthorized access/copying.

I have heard of this sleep mode thing but haven’t seen any official stuff on it. But...you can turn the key off by pressing lock twice really quickly. This will turn off KEYLESS ENTRY etc

Thanks Nick. So can you advise on the Jules Verne (Toilet & Shower) version. How do Merc dealerships treat this model? Also any plans for an electric Marco Polo, given Jags recent statement?

Hi Tadz, Thanks for your message, I honestly hadn’t heard of that before. This is not currently something that Mercedes-Benz dealerships are involved with. Reading online, it looks like only 60 units were made by Westfalia. I’d imagine this is probably something in Europe but certainly something I haven’t heard of before in the UK. I honestly doubt they’ll be an electric version of a Marco Polo due to weight but you never know! We’ll have to wait and see 👀 There is an EQV out at the moment, just no kitchen or bed or Marco Polo bits etc

Hi, Nick, sorry this is off topic but really need a bit of advice just ordered a CLA premium plus iv'e got a couple of days to decide on colour i can't choose between mountain grey/iridium silver have you seen both in the flesh what's your opinion ? iv'e only seen the mountain grey thanks x

Hey Julie! I wouldn't say that's off topic! :) They look great, both of them: photos.app.goo.gl/aBb8cHotR7ue2S3R6 However honestly I've actually owned both before with the same colour on an A-Class. Both are great at hiding the dirt so you don't have to clean it as much! There are more grey cars sold than silver ones so depends if you want to be a little different or not. Either way, I am fairly sure you won't be disappointed :)

Since Mercedes imports the Metris into the U.S., would it be possible to import the Marco Polo from Germany even if it is a model that Mercedes doesn't import? The van model has been crash tested for U.S. use. The Marco Polo is the same vehicle with just more options. People have went over to Germany to import their Mercedes for years. Does Mercedes allow the Marco Polo to be imported from Germany?

Nice camper but the blind for the front windscreen for this vehicle is a joke looks like a welders blanket and a afterthought the designers must have been on the snapps.
