Zealot: finally, it is OUR time! Most of the time zealots are just chaff or used for mineral runbys, but every once in a while they are used as a main army unit. I can imagine the boyz goin in that insect cloud and stabbing the ground with psy blades until they hear a low grumble. 😁

Meh Fire bats do same thing for Terran just Terrans are lamos who don't mass firebats. Firebats do the full damage under dark swarm cuz they count as meele units.

Really enjoyable game, I like that both didn't go "super effective" way and tried new things. And I agree on SSL thing, seems like Mihu kinda hit his ceiling, it's either DeWalt or XiaoShuai, and while latter is more likely I'd really like for the most promising non-Korean Protoss to qualify first.

That was such an important moment, both players had been building up air armies and playing chicken on the tech switch, and by making decisively initiating like that, even though Stork ended up without an air army, he dictated the flow of the game and the switch into a ground battle in such a way that he still had more control despite the mutas

Really fun PvZ, I'm a simple SC guy i see archons and lurkers figthing on a 28 min long game i click no questions asked. I still remember a Bisu or snow PvZ i believe where a hero reaver got like 250 kill or so, insanity that's what PvZ turn out in late games hahaha.

It would take time and money to get the ultras. So 7 ultras in 3/4 minutes vs 15 lurkers in one minute, it's not so clear what the right choice is. He could have won the comp he had.

I used to do this all the time rush 2 base early gas on both 5-6 gate super prove heavy with like 4-5 cannons. I would have like 4 archons and like 16-20 speed lots +1 attack and then just steamroll into their base and had like 75% winrate doing this. Of course this was like 2006-2008ish so you could get away with doing shit like this
