I absolutely love this music, too. Hate to sound like a fan-boy, but I am one, when it comes to this band. There IS so much cra* out there when it comes to "surf music", but these guys transcend the genre and make it into something totally unique to them only. I would so love to see them in Seattle, but I'm not sure their talent would be appreciated. Maybe someday?! MAKE MORE MUSIC! I don't care if it's just jam sessions, record it, and post or sell it! I'd buy it!

absolutely love this music, been a fan since i found the album ' A Glorious Lethal Euphoria', the Mermen are a great inspiration to me musically, there are so many wanna be 'surf bands' that make literal garbage, but Mermen is such soulful music, it's what i enjoy listening to when at Huntington or on the coast, their music, depth, and vibe are truly inspired by the Great Entity of the Sea. Absolutely love listening to them, this is a great recording, listening to new music! Thank you for posting!

A Glorious Lethal Euphoria is my most favorite THE MERMEN album, too. The last song 31:10 ISLANDS from the latest CD, THE MAGIC SWIRLING SHIP is my favorite too, I am from an island and this is exactly how you feel the end of beautiful ordinary day, surrounded by ocean.

Where are all the numerous "wanna be" surf bands at? The surf music scene always looking for more surf bands. In Maine the only people who go to surf bands are people in surf bands so do send them our way if there is too much surf music for you out there!

Overall I really like this band and their creativity. Have wondered what they would sound like with a 2nd complimentary guitar player? I wish these guys would help spawn a new genre of instrumental guitar music as I think this would appeal to a lot of people - even more than traditional surf guitar.

this show took SO FUCKING LONG TO GET GOING worth it though also i (partly) broke up with my girlfriend because she didnt like them and they were my favorite band growing up
