We need brother Sajjad's complete recitation of the whole Quran, I could hear this all day. His voice has a certain calming effect that makes the pure words of the Quran such a sweet melody. I love listening to this before going to bed. I go to sleep - HAPPY, BLESSED, THANKFUL & in so much awe of our Lord. I can't help but feel so thankful that we have so much today at the click of our fingers. May Allah bless everyone who is working day and night to spread the one true message of the Quran. Important Notes of The Message of The Quran Part 12: Surah Al-Ra'd & Surah Ibrahīm Section-3 Personal note: السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته This is Section-3 of the Notes. Section-1, Section-2, Section-4, and Section-5 are commented in different comments as the notes are too long to be commented on in one comment. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. The personal note ends... Contents of Surah Ibrahīm - Description of the Day of Judgement: From Ayah 21 onwards, we see Day of Judgement being described vividly. فَقَالَ الضُّعَفٰۤؤُا لِلَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡۤا اِنَّا كُنَّا لَـكُمۡ تَبَعًا فَهَلۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ مُّغۡـنُوۡنَ عَنَّا مِنۡ عَذَابِ اللّٰهِ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ​ؕ قَالُوۡا لَوۡ هَدٰٮنَا اللّٰهُ لَهَدَيۡنٰكُمۡ (14: 21) and the weak ones will say to the haughty ones: "We merely followed you. Will you, then, protect us from Allah's chastisement?" They will say: "Had Allah shown us the Way to our salvation, we would surely have also guided you. The Qur’an is very clear. Everyone of us must think for ourselves and not blindly follow anyone, especially for the most important things - Allah and the correct religion. The false leaders blame Allah for being misguided just like Iblees did. They are about to enter Hellfire but they still cannot acknowledge that they did it, they remain arrogant. They lead their followers into Hell. Religiosity is infinite times better than non-religiosity, both in this world and the next. Follow the right people, think deeply about where you are heading. The next Ayah Allah gives us is powerful, it shows us the last address of Shaitan. Ibn Qayyim said, “This Ayah describes the Khutbah (Sermon) of Shaitan.” In Tafseer books, we learn that Shaitan will gather people who followed him and he will address them. We do not want to hear this Khutbah live. We need to take the lesson here, in this world. وَقَالَ الشَّيۡطٰنُ لَـمَّا قُضِىَ الۡاَمۡرُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَعَدَكُمۡ وَعۡدَ الۡحَـقِّ وَوَعَدْتُّكُمۡ فَاَخۡلَفۡتُكُمۡ​ؕ وَمَا كَانَ لِىَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ سُلۡطٰنٍ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ دَعَوۡتُكُمۡ فَاسۡتَجَبۡتُمۡ لِىۡ​ ۚ فَلَا تَلُوۡمُوۡنِىۡ وَلُوۡمُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ​ ؕ مَاۤ اَنَا بِمُصۡرِخِكُمۡ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ بِمُصۡرِخِىَّ​ ؕ اِنِّىۡ كَفَرۡتُ بِمَاۤ اَشۡرَكۡتُمُوۡنِ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ​ ؕ اِنَّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ‏ (14: 22) After the matter has been finally decided Satan will say: "Surely whatever Allah promised you was true; as for me, I went back on the promise I made to you. I had no power over you except that I called you to my way and you responded to me. So, do not blame me but blame yourselves. Here, neither I can come to your rescue, nor can you come to mine. I disavow your former act of associating me in the past with Allah. A grievous chastisement inevitably lies ahead for such wrong-doers." Iblees comes clean on the Day of Judgement and he tells his followers to take responsibility for what they did. He also admits that no one help anybody. And rejects all associations and worships people did to other than Allah in Iblees’s name. He admits that all of that is false. Don’t follow the footsteps of Shaitan, go to the Prophets and follow them for they will be saved ones on the Day of Judgement. As for the believers, there is beautiful description of the place they’ll be in. Gardens and rivers, they will live there forever. The Angels will say Salaam to them, Allah will say Salaam, everyone will be saying Salaam to one another. وَاُدۡخِلَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ​ؕ تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ فِيۡهَا سَلٰمٌ (14: 23) As for those who had believed and did good in the world, they shall be admitted to the Gardens beneath which rivers flow. There, with the leave of Allah, they shall abide forever, and will be greeted with: "Peace". Contents of Surah Ibrahīm - Parable of a Good Word: اَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ ضَرَبَ اللّٰهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ اَصۡلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَّفَرۡعُهَا فِى السَّمَآءِۙ‏ تُؤۡتِىۡۤ اُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِيۡنٍۢ بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّهَا​ؕ وَيَضۡرِبُ اللّٰهُ الۡاَمۡثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُوۡنَ‏ (14: 24) Do you not see how Allah has given the example of a good word? It is like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and whose branches reach the sky, (14: 25) ever yielding its fruit in every season with the leave of its Lord. Allah gives examples for mankind that they may take heed. The “good word” here is the Shahada - لا إله إلا الله - and the tree described here is the Tree of Faith. When you put it in your heart and let it grow properly, it will make your heart firm, giving you strength, and take you to the Heavens. You will have the peace and goodness of this world and definitely of the next world. Contents of Surah Ibrahīm - Many Blessings of Allah: Allah recounts many of the blessings He has given us. Allah has given us the rain, many kinds of fruits, ships, and so much more. وَسَخَّرَ لَـكُمُ الۡـفُلۡكَ (14: 32) Who subjected for you the ships Allah has gifted us the knowledge of building ships. So by extension, every single vehicle is gifted to us by Allah. We didn’t make them by ourselves, Allah gifted the knowledge and the ability to make them. وَسَخَّرَ لَـكُمُ الشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ دَآئِبَيۡنِ​ۚ وَسَخَّرَ لَـكُمُ الَّيۡلَ وَالنَّهَارَ​ۚ‏ (14: 33) Who subjected for you the sun and the moon and both of them are constant on their courses, Who subjected for you the night and the day, وَاٰتٰٮكُمۡ مِّنۡ كُلِّ مَا سَاَلۡـتُمُوۡهُ​ ؕ وَاِنۡ تَعُدُّوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰهِ لَا تُحۡصُوۡهَا ؕ اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ لَـظَلُوۡمٌ كَفَّارٌ‏ (14: 34) and Who gave you all that you asked Him for. Were you to count the favours of Allah you shall never be able to encompass them. Verily man is highly unjust, exceedingly ungrateful. We can never even count all the blessings of Allah, forget truly thanking Him for it. We can’t even express so many things Allah has given us in words. But Allah is not requiring perfection. He wants to see us attempt. He wants us to acknowledge and recognise what He has done for us, and even this is for our benefit, not His. Other Ayahs mention sleeping, walking, seeing, all these are things we just take for granted. Allah is saying that He did all these things for us, to make our lives easier. This ends Section-3. Section-1, Section-2, and Section-4 will be posted in different comments. In verse 21, " [قَالُوا لَوْ هَدٰىنَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنٰكُمْ] those people will never confess and will blam Allah for them entering Hell, in verse 22 when Iblees is giving sermon, in he confess that Allah promise is always true, so those people mentioned in verse 21 should also be attending the sermon and even Iblees clearly confess so how will they don't recognize even thier master recognize?? Allah knows
