This style is freedom to me. I don’t drink or smoke or go partying till morning, but I love the idea that you can be chic with imperfections. All this clean girl/that girl polished looks are so drowning.

You can absolutely be chic with imperfections!! I love it, too

As a European, I feel like you have a very distinct NYC style and persona. All your outfits, and just the vibes you embody give NYC girl going to the Bodega. The amount of thought you give into your makeup and clothes for it to look a certain way is very opposite of french girls who tend to care little and have a more spontaneous, care free, scattered and effortlessly chic vibe!

This is great, I think you nailed it. Unapologetic, doesn't care what other think, knows she deserves pleasure. The styling is a reflection of these values.

Exactly!! The style is a result of the mindset.

I love your take on French girl style as I am in love with their style too. I feel like in America a lot of women do two extremes; sweatpants and messy bun or dressed to the nines and look like dolls like you said. I feel like that needs to be studied lol.
@RaisaReyes6 ай бұрын
lol I so agree. Why does it have to be full glam or nothing, one extreme or the other. I feel like my channel is committed to this study haha

I love love your haircut and the layers in your hair. I am wondering what photo did you show your hair stylist?
@RaisaReyes6 ай бұрын
Thank you!! Such a good question. I showed her a contemporary photo of Camille Rowe. My hair has grown significantly since my last hair cut, but I did more or less get that haircut.

I think it’s called the Jane Birken look from the 60’s. Because I have never seen or known any messy French girls. I Do like the red lipstick and red nails look but have never had greasy hair and never did my French mom I think the look your talking about was during the 60’s
