Guys, I hope you will keep reactions to western animation on the channel. I think it's a great mix with the anime that you are doing. And there are some incredible shows for you to watch: 1. First, "The Dragon Prince" from the people who worked on Avatar, and my man Jack de Sena (Sokka's VA) is voicing the main character. Overall, the show is very popular among Avatar fans. 2. Then there is "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power." It has my second-best character development (after Zuko, of course), and there are a lot of "FINE" girls for plenty of your jokes, (which btw are hilarious!!!) plus, it looks just amazing. 3. And not to forget "Gravity Falls" and its sisters "Amphibia" and "The Owl House." Great storytelling, a lot of mystery, comedy, ciphers and hidden puzzles in the background of every episode the theme song is absolutely iconic. To be honest, I don't know how to describe it because of how incredible gravity falls is. You just need to watch and find out for yourself (big channels like The Blind Wave and Normies reacted to Gravity Falls and loved it so...) And if you like it, Amphibia and The owl house will be on your list as well

This series is so good at using the universe established in Last Airbender. It is one of the very few sequel series that manage to take material from its predecessor and build on it while not being consumed by it. You can feel the impact of the Last Airbender's cast without it becoming about them, and you can see seeds that were planted sprouting and old problems coming back from that history. The best is still to come as well.

Opal lives in wealth peaceful city, in love with her big family, with great healthy food and weather. With almost no limitations form her parents to do/study anything. It is natural in such conditions to be nice and happy, get off from girl. And for somebody with such inner peace it would be much easier to get to airbending.

It’s interesting to me that Kya waterbends more like Aang. She so desperately wanted to be part of the air nation. She took several airbending moves and adapted them for water. No one else water bends like Kya. She always wraps herself in water. She created circles and rings of it like the circles and wrings of air. It just lends a sadness to her wanting to participate in airnomand activities.

Its never explained in the show, but Lin and Tenzin split because Lin didnt want kids, and Tenzin kinda wanted to do the whole not letting his race go extinct thing.

Omg!!! I love this chapter! No doubt the past of the Beifong sisters is very interesting! BUT the moment I love the most, is the battle of Kya vs Zaheer, it's amazing, Kya will always be one of my favorite characters, and in this season she has more prominence. She is katara's daughter and the craziest thing of all is that she is a healer. She's not a full waterbender like her mother, but she trained her whole life for this moment. She is the avatar's daughter clearly has that training but not to her 100%. She gave zaheer a good fight( not many do that) something that was not expected but it was an AMAZING moment to see. Kya is a Secret Bad*ss!

This episode is really beautiful, not only in the design of Zaofu being based on 1920s art deco and futurism, but also in its musical score, impressive choreography and scene transitions, and interesting character dynamics like Su and Lin being half-siblings which is still relatively uncommon in media. In fact, all the episodes taking place in Zaofu are interesting and quite revealing as you will find out.

The theory I believe is that Baatar (Su's husband) is Sokka's son. He looks similar and both are nonbenders

My theory about Opal is that because she grew up in a family full of benders as almost the only one that was a non bender, she had the opportunity to be humble. If you look at most of her siblings, they're all a bit self-involved and driven to make their mark, and stand out from the other siblings that are benders. Even the one that is also a bit introverted like Opal is still an "artiste" type, obsessed with making sculpture. I don't mean this in a bad way, necessarily. The world needs all kinds of people, and those with slightly bigger egos do tend to be go-getter and idea people, and reining in their ego is just their "burden" to work on, and everyone has some weakness or negative thing about them. I'm just saying that it's a big contrast to Opal, and I think that's the main point the writers were making with Opal. One might wonder why Bumi, then, was the opposite. Because of family dynamics. Aang wasn't a "good" father, because he had no idea how to be. The Air Nomads didn't have a traditional family structure. He never had a father in his life (or a mother) because they broke up families, in order to encourage enlightenment. You can't achieve enlightenment if you are tied to earthly things, including family. So all Aang knew how to be was an Air Nomad mentor. So he was never home, and he ended up focusing mostly on Tenzin. But he didn't know that would hurt Kya and Bumi. Kya leaned into the "rejection" by trying to be even more "free" than Aang seemed, and deny family was important to her, or even needed. Remember when she loses her memory in the Fog of Lost Souls, she says, "No! I don't have a family! You can't tie me down!" Bumi became emotionally stunted and needy. He became MORE extroverted and attention-seeking. But Suyin became the opposite of Toph. She was very "there" to her children and was emotionally supportive. Because of this, Opal never needed to do crazy things for attention. She stood out by being a non bender, but wasn't ignored. Therefore resulting in this sort of almost perfect humility that is very endearing. Anyway, I could say more, but I got stuff too today 😂

The writers confirmed that was one of the main reasons she and Tenzin broke up, right? I understand Tenzin wanted children and why he would feel a responsibility to have them, but it must have sucked for Lin to have him ditch her for someone 15 years younger than him and immediately start having children. It feels as if he was waiting for her to change her mind but finally gave up once they reached the age when getting pregnant would have been difficult or high-risk for Lin.

I like the concepts surrounding sue’s character. But I don’t like her, she seems like a cool person at first but if Lin is so mad obviously she did something wrong to her in the past and she constantly tries to shift the bad attention off herself to keep up this perfect image, it’s annoying. I picked up on that right away I feel like so many reactors are so quick to trust sue just cause she seems nice and shiny, but in reality she has a lot of bad qualities she needs to deal with and many people don’t realize sues flaws at first or ever really because they’ve never dealt with people like her in real life 😅 so they can’t tell how irritating she really is as a character at least to me lol

Yeah, I mean…she’s very nice and open to change and second chances, but I don’t think (at least up this point) she’s ever acknowledged her wrongdoings and what really happened in the past or apologized. SPOILERS She may think their mom stepped down for one reason, but I believe Lin in that she was ashamed of having a daughter who was taking part in criminal acts. True, Toph wasn’t a perfect mom, and she could’ve been more firm with her daughters on what’s right and wrong, but Suyin still should’ve known Lin well enough that she would actually arrest her sister if she had to.
