Excellent overview Shawn, definitely an interesting EZX and one I'll consider down the track. For now I think I need to learn how to use what I have and start making some music 🤘🤘 Looked like you enjoyed showing off this one, especially the blast beats. When I started to dig into metal a few years ago, I had no idea of the number of sub genres. So much to explore 🤘

I got it today. Breifly checked out all the kit presets but haven't got to try it with my roland kit yet. I'm sure it will do fine. I'm already happy with Superior Drummer 3

I'm still looking for a cool expansion pack with a double bass drum. I'm not really a metal freak, although I like metal, listen to it and sometimes play it, but I'm not sure if I'll ever make a metal song. I'm looking for a set like that because I already have one for Superior Drummer, but the SDX can't be played in EZ Drummer. What would be a recommended double bass set? The songs that are included aren't that important to me. In general, I'm rather old-fashioned in the metal area and listen to things like Judas Priest, Def Lepard, Saxon and the like.

I don't think it exists. Only the Metal themed EZXs have them. Hope you're well!!

@@ShootieSchool Yes, that's what I think. I only have a metal set for SD, it sounds nice and dry and not as clayey as the standard SD set. Now I'm looking for something like that for EZD. For SD I use the "Metal Machinery" and am looking for a re-equalization for EZD.

Its hard to beat the Death Metal Ezx IMO but so far this one sounds pretty rad?

I still recommend Death Metal. I still use the old metal! EZX as well.

Is metal mania ezx better than modern metal ezx? Does it dethrone modern metal ezx and takes your top spot as the #1 expansion for ezx?
