What is not to love about Loreli Sims,if her smile doesn't get you ,then her personality will ,for sure . Everyone of the craftspeople that Eric has met with are in a rare class of people. Thank you ,Eric for bringing them into our homes.

As an academic who 10 years ago moved into the world of carpentry, I really like the whole series. But this episode, where you, as an interviewee who is willing to reveal your weaknesses, is for me the diamond in the crown. When I had anxiety attacks, I discovered that the ability to talk about them and not hide them and my willingness to be weak in the immediate family - these are the things that strengthened me and helped me a lot.

Hi Eric aka Big Daddy! I hadn’t seen this episode (doing my best to catch up from the beginning) That was fun watching you teach a Master your craft and you could see in her eyes she was thrilled to learn something new and different. I’m sure Buddy and miss Chase kept an eye on you as not to embarrass them 😊 I was hoping it would end with you frozen with your hammer on the metal and the screen shot turns sepia tone ( I like those endings of the Craftsmen Legacy….Kinda 70s Old school)

I love every episode of A Craftsmans Legacy, but this one is by far my favorite. It was great to see you on "the other side" of the interview. You sir are an artist and a craftsman! I truly admire your courage and skill. Making is important, especially in today's crazy world. It helps keep me grounded. These episodes always inspire me! Thanks Eric! By the way, do you do your own pinstriping?

I love watching all of your episodes. I always wondered about your story and was thrilled to see that you are the focus of this episode. Thank you for sharing your story and getting personal. I recently started having panic attacks and found your story inspirational. I am a jewelry maker, not sure I’d use the word artist and find the focus of working metals helpful with it. Again, thanks for exposing us to all of the wonderful makers out there. Crafters and their handmade works have always intrigued me since childhood. Thank you! I look forward to seeing more. G-d bless.

Outstanding video. Truly have enjoyed this series, need to support crafts as they are fading. I have done some metal forming with 6061T0 using a hammer alone, then watched some craftsmen at the Oshkosh airshow do the same work on a wheel. I fell in love with wheeling right then.

Great video. This is the first time I have seen your channel. I do metal and wood working also. I love hammering the metal and using the wheel also. You are only limited to your imagination. Lucinda Basset has a great program you can get to use at home for the anxiety. It really helps to deal with it and get over it quicker whenever it happens. I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing with us. Dan

Thank you for making a very well produced video. The thing that is lacking is eye protection. I would appreciate your comments on why you or anyone of your viewers would not think that eye protection is required in the shop. Safety glasses and ear plugs at all times!

I purchased several of Ron's books back in the '70s -- now I need to see if I can still find them! Lorelei's skills as a Blacksmith gave/gives her the ability to quickly pick up some of the skills Eric was sharing, but also because he's a good teacher too. Episodes like this are why I _immediately_ subscribed to this channel back when I first discovered it! ;)
