Your comment on A.A. Williams is spot-on. 'As the Moon Rests' is one of my favourite albums. I already knew her before she released it, but that one really clicked with me. I do like a lot of music outside of metal, from electronic to singer-songwriter to soul and R&B, as long as it has a dark edge to it. A.A. Williams ticks all of those boxes as her influences come from that as well. Funnily enough, a lot of the other stuff you showed I like and play regularly as well 😁 edit: Oh, and Ulver is great as well! They just released a new album too. My favourite album of theirs is 'The Assassination of Julius Caesar', which came before 'Flowers of Evil'. They're really good to wind down with, as you mentioned.

A.A. Williams is spot on if you want a cross genre artist. You hit the nail on the head with styles but in a dark atmosphere. Yeah new Ulver I sampled but you can't just dive into that band. I have Assassination on vinyl too, Flowers of Evil just wins it for me though. From start to finish that album is perfect to me. Cheers for watching mate.

Great stuff man. I used to have a copy of Novembers Doom's Amid Its Hallowed Mirth but don't remember it doing much for me so it wound up getting sold. I'll give them another listen. It's some great melancholic doom. Band name could be taken for a black metal band but they're more in the vein of bands like mid album Katatonia and Solstice to me.

Excellent answers to those questions, Liam. I don't think I've ever heard Darkthrone's Total Death before. I'll have to check it out based on your thoughts on it. Simon knows how to keep everyone happy with his VCLT packages that he sent. I would've paid a lot of money to see your fanboy reaction to that Bolt Thrower album. I think one out of the four channels you mentioned I've haven't checked out. The rest I've subbed too.

I couldn't do it, I missed quite a few albums I really wanted in 2024 due to postage. Luckily some sellers in Ebay do free shipping from the states which is weird but i've yet to be burnt by them. Never understood how that works but must be a business thing within Ebay. Cheers for watching mate
