Endings being locked behind certain passages honestly is pretty cool. Kind of makes it feel like one of those games where your playstyle affects the ending.

This slugcat really feels more balanced when you have both slugpups with you. The flash attack will kill the pups, so if you want to use it, you first need to set them down a good distance away. They also weigh down your flight ability, so you can still glide, but won't gain any height - when taking them back across Farm Arrays I had to ferry them over the worm grass one at a time. If you're looking for a challenge I'd definitely recommend traveling to the depths first thing.

I agree with you! I didn't show it in the video, but I used the teleport once while carrying them and it killed them, so the pups definitely nerf you! :p

6:52 At least someone noticed this inconsistency. According to Luna, this fruit is a cocoon of a creature, however, it is not clear why it is considered a plant food. This is the same as calling eggs a product of plant origin. apparently the creator of this mod finally decided to make the “fruit” count as meat food in order to comply with the lore of the game)))

​@@kostenpsycho2422 Okay, hear me out here; I have what I believe to be sufficient evidence to prove that Everything Everywhere All at Once is one big Rainworld reference, with Saint being Jobu Tupaki, whom I believe must be female across all universes: -Dying is circumvented by moving to another plane of existence. -The bagel is a way out of the cycle, similar to the void fluid. -The bagel has no end, it cycles back to the start (in 2 unique ways). -Both characters are Asian. -Saint has the mark of communication, which would be possible in another universe where iterators managed to fix themselves, from which she would inherit the ability by verse-jumping. -The movie has heavy themes of looping to the start in the form of universes where the commotion hasn't started yet. -Both IPs have a message of how what we do right now is useless, yet this doesn't mean we cannot enjoy life. -The racoon gag is a reference to how slugcats were originally going to be bears, yet were later retconned into something not quite cat, yet is unbelievably close. -During the final scenes, her mother Evelyn puts a googly eye on her forehead, mimicking Saint's forehead being decorated. -Both IPs have a heavy theme of family. -Saint seems to be very chipper in her co-op portrait (and starting cutscene) compared to in-game, explained by Joy becoming Jobu Tupaki after the co-op portrait takes place in the timeline. -Saint's campaign loops to the start as she is another saint from a very similar universe. -We have seen that strong enough beings can go into branches of the multiverse where separate evolutionary paths occurred. -Not all universes seem to be synced up in the location of the given people. -We have no reason to believe that the laws of physics have to be identical between universes, meaning cycles may exist in some universes but not others. Now, there is a point at which a character ends up being a completely different person, therefore some traits must be consistent between all universes. It has been a while since I watched the movie; but I do not recall any character changing genders upon changing universes, implying by probability that gender is a non-changing trait across all depictions of Jobu Tupaki, unless she becomes a rock. As all other depictions of Jobu Tupaki are female, I find that the Saint too is a female beyond a reasonable doubt.

Well, there's also always the logic of that the slugcats don't know those are pupas. They're just like, "Cool, hanging thing that doesn't have a pulse or require murder. Must be plant." And it's very likely that Saint is vegetarian by choice, because true vegetarians don't really exist. Deer will happily eat meat, for example. But then also, outside of what the lore says, it seems to be a fruit for all intents and purposes, so it'd be weird to the players if Saint couldn't eat it, if they didn't know the lore. So there's that element, too.

6:55 I believe it's because blue fruit, despite of the name, is an insect pupa according to moon. Which would make sense for it to happen because you're vegetarian Funny how a mod follows this in game information while Saint, who's also a vegetarian, don't ;P

It actually makes a lot *less* sense. Veganism isn't a type of natural diet, like being carnivorous, vegetarian, or omnivorous. It's something humans made, so Saint isn't vegan. They're vegetarian, and vegetarians are still perfectly capable of eating larva and eggs, hence why a vegan Scug actually makes a lot less sense, unless they were modified by an Iterator.

@@FluffiestPrince I just thought in the slugcat world, an insect would count as meat. Only carnivorous scugs can bite into creatures like lizards and vultures, hence why others are only able to eat centipede for example. It's like softer meat. That's why I defaulted to insect = meat. In my canon, Saint is a vegetarian because he is a pacifist. The thought of eating meat / another creature disgusts him, that's why he doesn't do it. Whenever it's a larva or a batfly My guess is that Saint eats bluefruit because of gameplay reasons, not lore. Some foods are only available in certain regions (Gooeiduck = Subterrenean, Dandelion peach = Sky islands etc.) and one of the only common "fruits" available in every region is Bluefruit. So instead of forcing the player to wait for a blizzard to open a popcorn plant or Scavs to trade some food, they just made Saint able to eat Bluefruit. Edit: I've noticed I wrote vegan instead of vegetarian in my original comment, that's my bad and I'll fix that

@@CassiusStelar I'm aware I just stated what I'd consider meat in the Rain World universe. Both vegans and vegetarians don't eat meat from my knowledge. Then again I'm neither of them, so I won't dictate what is and isn't meat. This wasn't my intention in the first place

@@NekoEchoflower Larva would still be considered as some form of egg, and vegetarian are entirely able to eat eggs. It doesn't make much sense to consider the batfly pupa as a non-vegetarian dish, when vegetarians in real life are entirely fine eating eggs. You could just deny it and say "game-logic" and sure, whatever. But this game has a massive collective amount of detail put into its ecosystem, so it's very obvious that Saint is just following a natural vegetarian diet.

This slugcat suffers from limited cycles like hunter unfortunately :X I haven't experienced all the endings, but I assume one is ascension, and the other 2 are likely split depending on if you check all the beacon messages or not, I could be wrong about this though!
