Don't forget that you can use the ash of war to escape gank pressure. Then turn around and charge right back towards them and use the follow-up explosion.

One of the only 2 ashes of war with golden wave that are actually doing damage on the final boss.😢 2-5K in 2 seconds is crazy. I normally dislike colossal weapons but this is great and the most fun in the series so far

I speced into it as my main build of the DLC and it was the best decision I made. I've just beaten Mesmer with it and I plan on carrying it all the way to the end most likely. It's just so unique in so many ways, it stands out even among the crazy weapons of the DLC. The lore, the unique arcane scaling, the fact that it uses a type of lightning we've never even seen before!

Fire knight short sword, aka big erdsteel dagger’s an insane weapon for pvp, won’t do as much AR as the ol’ erdsteel but it makes up for it by being the size of a longsword with the speed of a dagger. And it’s R2 is just 👌.

A couple things about this weapon. You can completely control the charge direction. The AoE is centered around you, not the sword. It's great for hitting people right when they try to heal.

You should try offhanding the colossal. No difference when you are two-handing it, but when one handing you get the backhandblade’s fast attacks but can still tap into big hyperarmor with an L1 swing if they try to trade expecting a little slash

Everyone was saying 125 is the meta for pvp but more and more i see videos with significantly higher levels Are people actually staying at 125 to duel or is everybody quietly going higher (something that would make a lot of sense for this game) Edit: i know this is an invasion video but at RL 168 can you even connect with 125? In ds3 invaders would target meta level

so isn't this a strength weapon? i have 70 strength and put 19 into arcane just for the prerequisite. is it worth to spread more into arcane as well? also, it seems like you can delay the charge for a split second to roll catch because, quite frankly, it doesn't reliably combo.
