Cool and Hana channel with Imo presents you with the ingredients of the recipe for the shanklish or Soorka method, along with the storage method:
11 cans of milk, each 125g, total of 1.375g
And if you want more Shanklish tablets, double the amount of milk
Method:
Put 3 tablespoons of white vinegar or lemon salt in the milk until the milk is thick, then stir before putting it on the stove until the ingredients are homogeneous.
When we put the milk on the fire, we stir constantly until the milk boils and a layer of clusters forms in the milk. We leave the milk to boil on its own for two minutes without stirring, then we turn off the fire and let the milk cool for two hours.
After the milk has become cold, filter the milk in a strainer and put the milk in a thin piece of cloth, then squeeze it well from the water and leave it in the strainer and place on top of a heavy weight until the water completely comes out of it.
Shanklish or Surka mix:
Paprika (red capsicum)
Anise love or crushed
Fennel seeds or crushed
cumin, nigella (black seed)
Oregano or wild thyme. Sesame
Salt, pepper paste, butter
When forming the shanklish disk, the hand should be greased with olive oil
Mixture of covering shinkleesh or swarka tablets:
1_ Oregano or wild thyme and sesame
2_ Paprika mix (red pepper) or if you want to put other additions
