I've been on this system before it is a great system. Tram outside the city center, Metro inside.

I think, it's an X-shaped light rail system. It consists of two lines: West-East line, consisting of branches: A - Matosinhos line, B - Povoa de Varzim line, Bx, - Povoa de Varzim express C - Maia line, E - Airport line and F - Fanzeres line, it's main section is from Senhora da Hora to Estadio do Dragao; and North-South line, consisting of line D, running between Saint John's Hospital and Santo Ovidio. It's rolling stock are Socimi Eurotrams (most lines) and Bombardier Flexity Swifts (only lines B, Bx and C).
