The Miami Heat are worse than you think

Speaking of the Heat, had Butler made the 3 vs Celtics in game 7 last year, do you think they win game 7 and go on to beat the Warriors in the NBA Finals? I say had the 3 splashed in, Heat would have won game 7 but would have lost to the Warriors.

I agree with you. I think the Celtics were already mentally on the ropes and wouldnt win a game 7 on the road, but I dont see a way they beat the Warriors

Heat do have a lot of issues. Also, their offense is very streaky and they dont have a consistent rim protector and shot creator off the bench. I think the Heat will make the playoffs but you dont make some reasonable points into why they might underachieve.

I'm less worried about their offense when healthy, they have good playmaking and shooting. Their bench was also a huge strength last year although they are weak now in the frontcourt, which I mentioned. I'm less worried about the center position pre-playoffs because there are plenty of decent backup bigs available rn they can snag, the complete lack of forwards concerns me much more
