That's a pretty bike. I don't think I'd change a thing. If I could afford it. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Such a cool hard tail. But man the cost of bikes is bonkers these days.

Cool vid. I'm glad you're showing the blue Chameleon cause all other vids I've seen are of the yellow one. Thanks

Got my new Chameleon R-Kit out on my local trails last week for a first ride. I really like the fork - it's a big upgrade from my old bike. The tires didn't work for me. If you ride aggressive steep downhill prolly have no problem, but for my less spirited riding the stock tires are slow with a lot of rolling resistance. I'm swapping out the stock tires with a set of faster downcountry-XC tires to better match my riding style. Except for the tire issue (but that's just me) this is a fun bike.

I almost got this bike. Ended up getting niner air 9 aluminum hardtail. Already upgraded it industry nine aluminum trail 1/1 wheelset and magura m8 pro brakes.
@ThunderStruckMTB2 жыл бұрын
How do you like the M8 Pros? Can you compare then to a 2 or 4 pot Shimano brake in terms of feel and overall power? Lastly, how is the rotor/pad clearance.... any rubbing?
@jasonlewis69142 жыл бұрын
@@ThunderStruckMTB they are really awesome once I broke them in. I really wanted Shimano xtr brakes but was 2 times the money. Those are unreal stoping power.

Do you know when Santa Cruz usually release their next year model? They announced the current model around this time last year.

Hello...I am 5,7 tall, do you think that this MEDIUM frame would feel long and give a stretched position ?

Santa Cruz is always on point. No wonders, because they are based on a skateboard company, so their bikes are made for fun riding

If anyone is here in August 2023, Jenson has these as well as the step down for 25% off!!! Much better value for your money on a dope bike

The most problem of this frame is fastening of dropout. It looks very fragile. As i know breakings happened already. Just look at these thin places of edges where screws go in. It's rediculous. It's hard to think up the worst fastening thing than Santa Cruz made.
@dadbod4life Жыл бұрын
The frame has a lifetime warranty and also most owners set it and forget it. Its not something i plan to ever move on mine. Set as short as possible and am leaving it for life. I guess time will tell if its an issue. I have not seen or heard of issues yet on any of the owners pages.

I was thinking the same thing but it fastens bolt to but the frame and drop outs are through holes. Idk I feel the same when I was thinking on the timberjack

Expensive for what it is almost 3k you are paying for the santa cruz logo better to buy a giant fathom and change the fork and you Still save money

Chameleon by far, better geo and a more optional bike as far as interchangeable. the chameleon will be more playful.
