As I watched you hack away at that neck with Gimli's axe, I heard Treebeard's voice in my head saying "Now, don't be hasty, Master Adair..."

😂 that’s too good! I love it when people think of references on these videos that I hadn’t thought of!

Artisanally excellent, but I feel like this was a seriously missed opportunity to just make a 7-string instead of the free floating "7th ring"
@adairguitars2 жыл бұрын
I was very tempted to do that, but I knew I wouldn’t play it much as a seven string. Had to go for long term playing for me in the end. 👍

I am so enjoying your videos! What fun! Your guitar is coming along so nice. You have added in some really clever elements. I can tell you have been influenced by Crimson Guitars but your own style shines through so strong. Very nice work! Looking forward to more.

@@adairguitars Enjoying the approach here with this series of videos. Visual, and simple. No need for explanations, we can see clearly what you are doing, and nice to hear some original music....guessing some of it is yours? Also good to see is your sense of humour, too. The guitar is coming along nicely, and the whole thing is going to look really gorgeous. Looking forward to the finished article.

Thanks Tim, I try to do each build series a bit different to keep things interesting. Unfortunately not my own music. For this series it’s royalty free music that I think fits the theme. I’m keen to get stuck into the body now. 👍
