1:02 i don't think casado was underestimated before the start of the season. afterall he was the bloody captain of barca athletic. but the truth here is nobody expected a 17 y/o marc Bernal to overperform in such a way that people started to see glimpses of busquets in him. just like busquets he was very calm and composed under pressure, making the right passes, mixing well with pedri and olmo. it was like marc Bernal has been playing with these players for years. his performance overshadowed casado's. if marc Bernal hadn't started we'd have been happy with casado too because he too is fully capable of what marc Bernal is and i don't remember anyone disrespecting casado by calling him "Sergi Roberto 2.0"

We didn't boss anyone around when playing against Osasuna. Because our midfield performed terrible. That showed that Pablo is not up to the task if he's not surrounded by more better players. Eric Garcia is not up to the task in any position. And Pedri was the best, but he was unlucky to have his nice runs and passes wasted by the other 2 and by Ferran Torres. Bernal is world class player, but we can't count on him anytime soon. When Olmo returns our attacking prowess will increase 10 fold. FDJ and Fermin are overrated but Casado is excellent until Bernal returns. Right now with Pablo and Eric our midfield is weak.

I hope he dislplace Frankie for sure. Frankie was always slow even at Ajax haking over 90% pass accuracy regularly only because his passing were always very short. Frankie hardly makes long passes forward because he always lackef the confidence that he can complete those kinda passes often without causing the team to lise possesion. Also, he does too many sideways passing. I believe with Frankie playing barca game would be slowed down and back to Xavi's style.. i'm only excited for Olmo's return

I recall when the club was interested in buying him and i watched his best highhlights at Ajax, and there was hardly a long pass made by him. All the hight video of him at Ajax showed wss 99% short passes and may so short they were bound to be accurate. I saw nothing special about him...as a matter of fact he only started getting better under Xavi, but some fans claim he was better Ajax...joke. I'm a frankie fan and was wanting him to live up to the expectation of the club and fans and win many trophies. He hasn't lived up to the expectation, and injuries have made matters worse. I recall wanting the club go sign De ligt over De jong but when frankie was signed i backed him as a new comer
