I'm still in awe of the play Brock made at 45:42. What amazing awareness and athleticism. I don't know how he was able to get his left leg up as it was sliding towards the line. Then to have the wherewithal to contort his body in an effort to have the ball cross the line? That has to be one of the best plays I've ever seen in football. Just incredible

Absolutely! Exactly the point I’ve been trying to make since the 2021 Natty. If a team can’t win games without 1 or 2 key players, then how solid is that team as a whole?? The whole team has to step up and make key plays to win the game. This is why GA was able to come back from a 14 point deficit twice.

Ryan Day is given a hard time for losing these games but man, just one play difference in this game and 2019 and he’s playing for a natty 3 of 4 years as a head coach. Much respect to the Dogs, they got it done. I still would love to see our Buckeyes play them again sooner than later.

Georgias TD at the 8:40 mark wasn’t a “slip” by the DB, it was an Ankle Breaker move that put him on his butt. Sad that an Ohio State & Big Ten Fanboy and former player, Herbstreit, gets to call these games. He never calls it fairly and his bias comes through bright and clearly. Even when the “media member” got flattened on the sideline, he gave Stroud credit for helping her up, when Bulldog Smael Mondon was helping her first. He also says a lot by his silence whenever the dogs scored or did something big. It’s really a shame he gets these prime games and he has way too much influence over college football in general.😊

Widespread teased Honky Red and I will never forget turning around to look at my brother and say "Honky Red is gonna lead the Dawgs to victory". During that song was when AD caught that touchdown pass. Honky was followed by Taildragger and the missed kick. Some dude in the pit had the game on his phone so i watched the kick. My brother could not bare to watch it. After he missed I turned to my brother shouting "WE WON THE GD GAME" multiple times. Taildragger was followed by Trashy, and by that point the boys must have gotten word about the result because after Trashy they played Greta and unleashed a PACK OF RABID DAWGS all over Bridgestone!!!

You could probably make a holding call on every play , but if you are an offensive lineman and you hold the defender within the framework of his body and don't make it too obvious, it's accepted as a non hold. That's been an acceptable compromise amongst officials, players, coaches and has been so for decades.. Dawgs scored more points than anOSU, accumulated more yards rushing and passing, plus outscored the Buckeyes 18 -3 in the fourth quarter. UGA out gained Ohio State by 66 yards on 6 viewer plays and had a +1.8 ypp advantage. So, the idea that Ohio State outplayed Georgia is nonsensical

LOL....are you blind my guy?? Let me see if I can help you see it!! lol UGA had no business winning this game since OSU won the first and 3rd quarters, however, when it comes to close football games it's the 2nd and 4th quarters that are the most important since they close out each half of the game. Now, take your pick, from the following list of things that happened in the game since any of them could be considered the reason for the midnight miracle in the A!!! Coming back from a 2 TD deficit .....TWICE! Scoring the go ahead TD with a minute left in the game to take the lead, which UGA hadn't held since it was 24-21 UGA in the 2nd quarter And of course Ruggles missing the FG as the clock struck midnight ending the 2022 year, which UGA dominated, and started the 2023 year which will be a repeat for UGA!!!! UofF ain't got nothing coming. Michigan winning it in 2023.

Only it wasn't a National Title game though. Face facts

Buckeyes gave it their best and the better team won. The missed holding calls was the only reason it was that close. Look forward to drafting Harrison Jr in fantasy

As a Georgia fan Ohio state played really good

The title should read "2022-2023 Peach Bowl"... 👀👀 Midnight struck for the Buckeyes.

25:15 Bad spot. That definitely looked like a first down.

Stroud had all day for most of the game. His receivers are too good for that.

Let the players make the plays. Bullard showed up big in this game.

Congrats to TCU beating a solid Michigan team. Although, it wasn't a beat-down like the one Michigan gave OSU at the shoe. TCU was BEST of any team that DAY! OSU got in "via the back door", once again! NCAA: Close the damn back door! USC should've opted out of conference title game and prepare for a NATTY.

Ohio state should kept their foot all the way on the gas. A team like Georgia you can’t let up at all.

It’s amazing how many holds Ohio state got away with in this game.

If Bennett hands the ball off instead of keeping it on the 3rd & 1, on Georgias 1st drive, then would have scored first. Likely, a much different game if not for those 2 first half FG misses.(see how OSU fans sound)? I can do the same for UGA and they won.

Yes! That decision by Bennett to keep the ball still urks the heck out of me, even though we won. It was plain as day, if he hands that ball to #6, he walks in the end zone untouched! Even the announcers said it.

Sounds like Matt Chernoff from 680 AM in Atlanta at the very beginning.
