Rave time: Okay, I'm a metalhead. 90% of what I listen to is several orders of magnitude more intense than this album. But I've recently started getting into more electronic music. What began with Celldweller has brought me here and I have to say...I don't actually know how to say it so that proper justice is done. This is one of the best albums I've heard this year, perhaps in the last five years. It's amazingly done, extraordinarily crafted, and I daresay a perfect example of this genre that I didn't even know existed two months ago. The vocals couldn't be a better match for the instrumental tracks, and oh mylanta, that saxophone. I hope the horn parts are real, cuz those melodies melt my soul into a puddle of bliss. I needed this album in my life. Thanks for reading, youtubers. Just had to say something.

But then again, I do generally prefer real 80s music over imitations of it. There's more musical depth to the 'real deal' and better lyrics as well.

8:52 is a tribute to Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight", for sure. As the guys in the comments below, I was a stubborn metalhead for many years (especially during the High School), but then that "life phase" is ended up. I mean, it's natural when you're young, adolescent, identify yourself in a pack, music or ideal. When you start to became adult the point of view on everything starts opening. These guys really do know how to make "just close your eyes, chill in the darkness of night, let that cool night breeze hit your face, take a deep breath, and get lost in the harmony of these melodies" kinda music, and honestly, this is exactly what I need in my life when everything else gets too loud. I believe the first track i ever heard of the Midnight is Vampires, But... without no doubt when i heard Collateral... I was buried in goosebumps, this was 2017. And I can never get tired of it, especially the sax. I most times play pretend i am playing it to a point some friend who never heard them think I played the sax. I love you Midnight. I pray I get a chance to see you live....one love all the way from Nigeria. Amazing Music, simply Electric.
