That’s the best Gladio demo I’ve heard. I bought one recently. I was also delighted that you use a Supersonic 22, which I also own. Did you use the gain channel with the Gladio? Stunning tones, but what a wonderful player you are.

Always considered the gladio too hot/drive ( as in distortion) in previous demos, but you have shown this in a way that is perfect for how I would use it, squealing ferocious blues leads. Great video as always dude!

What a great demonstration of the Gladio. It’s fantastic on the Blues but also fantastic on Jazz and Rock I can hear. I like that you used a guitar that has a humbucker in the bridge and single coils. I play mostly a Gibson Les Paul and my Strat. I love how this pedal is so versatile. Sorry to say that most demos on KZbin only demoed this on single coils. I get it, it’s mostly designed for that. When you pushed it on stacking both sides with your humbucker it had that fuzz sound in which I love lol. Great job! My rabbit hole searching for sound just got smaller, so thank you for that.

Awesome playing. Told you, you would love it. You played a lot with high gain. Try channel one gain around 9:30 and volume near the same but dialed in for your amp and be blown away my how clean and gives your tone that sparkle. Love how touch sensitive it is and how it can clean up amazingly.

Luv the sound of this pedal. 🔥 I’m waiting on my Ceriatone OTS Mini 20, but have to ponder what this would sound like in front of that amp? The Gladio is just so terrific sounding and is in my “to get” list, but I’d already ordered a few of the Vertex pedals, but if they can’t give up the goods, then back they go and hello Gladio! Haha Nah, I’ll probably keep ‘em all. I’m new to the pedal scene, as I’ve played guitar to amp for years, exception being a Crybaby on occasion. So, this pedal thing is new to me and I’m having a blast trying my new Wampler Gearbox, Dual-Fusion, and my Boss SD-1 as a boost , and luv’n it all through my Marshall #2204. But, with the OTS and it’s having a effects loop will let me try some modulation effects, etc. Thanks for these videos Buddy! Diggin’ it so much! ✌🏼

Ha thanks so much for following both! I think people forget that I'm on this pedal journey WITH YOU 🤣. I too have JUST discovered the pedal I'm demoing or any pedal really. I just started messing with pedals last year. Was always a guitar and amp person nothing else. I was also much much wealthier. And thank you! Dr. Watson hasn't yet made an appearance on this channel but I'm sure he will soon! I don't know the Gladio as well as I know the protein, but they really do 2 very different thing.. can I answer this question in a few days? Haha

Ok it has been a few days. Wiiillldly different. Played both at 2 gigs (Friday night Gladio Saturday night Protein) The left side of the protein I find that I go to whenever I need a "treble bump" if I'm drowning in the mix. It is quite a bright channel (the good bright not the pierce your ear bright). The right side of the protein ---WITH HOW I HAD IT SET--- tended to get lost in the mix. After I adjusted the levels on it and the tone knob quite past 12 it was perfect. Together stacked is just protein heaven. The Gladio didn't have that """"problem"""". (Again. It wasn't a problem it was just how I had the protein set playing at home alone without a drummer crashing and splashing near me). Both channels cut right through the mix and sounded really good. Didn't find myself bending down adjusting mid-gig. I also found myself quite a bit on the left side of the gladio alone. I think the only thing they have in common is the fact that they are 2 of the hottest 4 dual overdrives on the market (duellist and king of tone being thr other 2). Really, nothing else in common totally. Both are incredible. TLDR: Lamborghini VS Ferrari Also I'm sorry if this ENTIRE reply proved to be useless and unhelpful 🤣🤣🤣

I’m really glad you found a pedal you like. Anything that helps us grab the guitar and play for fun or play for practice is a win. This company however is a small business, and the owner feeds his family from the sale of his pedals. Your pedal absolutely does NOT match the inside of this one. It is a fake. It isn’t a clone, shit everybody clones pedals these days. It is a fake. Which hurts that business. You didn’t come here for a life lesson, you came here to tell us that the Chinese copy is identical for “1/7th of the price”, and I’m here to inform you that it isn’t.
