Phoenix was my first agent and the agent i go to whenever I feel like playing casually. His buffs really didn’t change much and the only real difference I’ve noticed so far is that flicking away from flashes are much harder. I don’t even count his ultimate and wall changes as buffs, since they are just quality of life changes that should have been there since the start. I’m happy about the changes, let me be clear, but he still has some serious issues. Like how (as far as i know) Phoenix’s molly is the only one that drops suddenly. I think it is an interesting choice that can lead to fun plays, but I would prefer a molly that I can throw normally. I’ll keep playing him and enjoying the changes, I just hope there is more in stock in the near future.

I have been enjoying phoenix so much even before the buff, i only play him now and he's so fun to play. Great vid as always, keep it up! almost forgot, your voice is so much better.

whats also important to mention is that Yoru equips his ult way faster now so you dont dir while youre in your ult si often anymore. Before you had to sit around for basically two seconds while equipping the ult cause you were vulnerable.

Im afraid that this new smurf detection thing will mistake me having a good day (poping off in a match or two) with me being matched with way higher rank players agenst me in the following matches, idk what do you think about it ?

I think it will definitely change your hidden mmr if you have multiple good days, but I think you would have to drop 40 kills every game and be a relatively low level while usually you would only drop 16 or something. It will without a doubt punish some innocent players, but we have to ask ourselves if it's worth the trade for less smurfs for those in gold and below :)

I want a Pc so bad to play Valorant for the vibe. I don't care how lame a game is. But riot games make games with awesome animation and art style. Valorant is the first shooter with abilities and a "cute" animation. That's the special thing about riot games. And i want to improve my speaking by playing with fun and non judging people. I play sometimes on my brother computer and some are sooo kind. And your channel is high quality. I never new that the skins in Valo really were pay to win in some situations. I its always the same animation just other colors ect.

I think a big problem for Phoenix is his underwhelming signature ability. Making the *huge* decision to barely heal yourself every 2 kills or throw a glorified light on the ground is ridiculous. Unlike the MASSIVE fires he throws in the cinematics, his molly just isn't that good. It's not particularly big, it doesn't last long and thus sees little lineup value, and the damage isn't anything special (it's similar to a Brim molly, but again has shorter duration). His signature should be something that instantly makes enemies sweat, literally.

here guys let me tell you something why phoenix flash has short duration then yoru or any other flash LET TAKE 2 AGENTS 1. yoru and 2. obviously phoenix now phoenix flash is shorter why ? lets test in custom game yoru flash takes longer time to pop off even tho it reveals after 1 bounce but yoru flash gives enemy a lot of time to react phoenix flash give a less to alsmost no time to react to flash unless you are sweaty radiant like tenz thats why to balance riot decided to make phenix flash duration shorter thank you

Imo these changes to phoenix are completely fine to play him again His ult shield fix and the flashes doing a bit better work plus acting a bit quicker out of wall are all he needs cus he's a show and go character One that is meant to be played as an easy and quick character And these buffs utilise that properly There are agents that are just a little worse then other ones and that is totally fine I like where phoenix is now

Phoenix buffs dont make him a viable agent cause the reason phoenix sees no pickrate is not that phoenix is horrible. Hes not good but hes not unpickable. The reason is that Kayo is better in every aspect. Kayo has essentially the same ult but with the function to also supress enemies and own sentinels setups, he has a better molly, the best flash in the game cause you cant dodge it, and the knife as info gathering plus to stop rushes is a way better abilty than the wall in general. If u want a wall smoke, play viper. your duelist shoudlnt be the smoker.

Not really putting much thought, but what if when you are shot by phoenix in his ult, his bullets/melee give burn which will deal ~5 or ~10 dmg over a small time period, and if he uses his wall/molly to heal inside his ult, he will heal at a faster rate, since he is literally on fire.

@@ivan_valerian I like that one, but when you cast the ult, normally, you dont walk you just rush in into the enemies, and they'd most likely hear you, and kill you, and you'd only hit them for like 0-22 or something

I'm horribly nooby at Valorant and only play Phoenix, so I hope this helps a little loll. Idk abt that wall though. It was a little disappointing but at least Riot didn't limit it to curved walls

I feel like Yoru's ultimate should have a positive interaction wit Sage wall. Yoru shouldn't be countered by a basic ability when casting his ultimate, and as it stands, once the sage wall is up, there is no ability that interacts with it. Jet and Raze are allowed to straight up bounce over it, so either let yoru take it one block down entirely, or just phase straight through it.

Phoenix could be made so strong with a simple rework: Make the wall physically longer, last longer, and go up quicker. Add damage over time to enemies that touch it - enemies ‘on fire’ (DOT) make a small ‘on fire’ sound that gives away their position. Add a small fiery explosion when the molotov lands - makes it different to others as it can do more burst damage, compensates for not being able to travel as far.

I think the self heal part of his kit is pretty underwhelming considering his character is all about recovering from damage like a Phoenix. I think the right click of the hot hands shouldn't drop the molly beneath him but instead just instantly heal him for 50 hp, like he's putting his hand to his heart or something, and you should be able to go beside the Blaze wall to heal over time from it instead of having to be physically in it where you can't even see
