A more reliable way of seeing if you have time to defuse (compared to the ball appearing at the 38 sec mark) that I found is by seeing when the ball expands and quickly fades out (you can see it at 4:48). If the spike is halved before it disappears, you have time ... though you may die on a few more maps if you don't have time

On Acsent B it matters where the spike is if its abit closer to 2 doorways then you can just go to corner and you will be safe although the explosion radius was 2m away from you

Since the spike explosion is a sphere, you could theoretically (crouch) jump at the end to get just a bit farther.

My way of seeing if the spike is safe not safe to defuse : DEFEN: If *black thing* appearing *on the ground* when *SPIKE* not half *run* If *spike* is half and u see a *small ball inside the big ball* is still *safe* to defuse ATTACK: Wth u doing...just play post plant or go back sight dont need to be near bomb BECOME PAKISTAN BOMBER (no offence btw)

Haven B: Plant Default about 5.8 seconds to window about 5.8 seconds to grass about 5.6 seconds to C site about 6.3 seconds to A site Haven C: Plant Default about 5.4 seconds to orb about 6.26 seconds to spawn about 5.89 seconds to grass IceBox B: Plant Default about 5.3 seconds to tunnel about 7.3 seconds to kitchen about 5.7 seconds to left side main about 5.94 seconds to regular main IceBox B: Plant Bridge about 5.26 seconds to kitchen

if it's halved you can safely defuse if the ring that appears is still there, it disappears when there is about 3.5 seconds left for me this is a lot easier to watch out for than looking for the sparks.

Hey, I probably don't play as much Valorant as you do so I maybe wrong... but in the slow maps, are there no better routes? I noticed for example on Ascent B Side, wouldn't it be faster to run to defenders spawn, instead of down B main?

when it gets to the 10s mark and starts beeping 4times per second if you defuse before the 12th beep you definitely have time, and if you defuse on or immediately after the 12th beep you will likely defuse with 0.05-0.01 left, i do it in unrated for the lols

The best I know is closing your eyes for 10-15 sec and you are now in spawn starting a new round. That vandal or phantom might not be in your hand anymore. But atleast your out of there.

The whole "do you have time to run away" thing is a red herring. You should worry if you have time to defuse or not. If you can't, then you Run anyways, seconds before it would blow up, or even if you're late, you still lose nothing by trying to run. If you can, then there is nothing to outrun. You literally never have to think about if you have time to get out of range, so that part of the video was a huge waste of time. it shouldve been a segment about if you have time to run TO the bomb or not.

incorrect you can tuck into b main in sncent if it is planted default. If you are attacker when your about to push out and u get mollied u push to corners or around smoke if u go back b main to the right side closes to exit you can survive
