Fighting climate change with all that shipping and electricity?

Wow, this is some great content that was clearly paid for by Mill. I appreciate that they at least aren't pretending that what this machines produces is finished Compost like all the marketing for the Lomi, but the carbon impact margin has got to get pretty slim if it even manages to stay positive once you use electricity to dry and grind for scraps and then ship them across the country, not to mention the impact of manufacturing the thing in the first place and shipping material waste. If you've got a yard, composting is really a very simple thing to do and doesn't have to be done perfectly to still be worthwhile, and if you don't then get a Sharewaste account and find someone locally that will take your scraps for their pile or use a compost collection service if available. Don't buy into this nonsense.

@CubNole4 ай бұрын
No, you can just rent or the buy the machine and forego a subscription for pickup

$999 to buy the machine. I want to know where this is made before I pay that price though.

This makes absolutely no sense.People are too lazy. Why would I pay someone to make money off of me by returning to them what I paid them to do. Get out in the yard and get all the benefits of composting. There are many.

@@phelanisserelaford5426 Maybe for consumers that live in apartments or condos but still want to reduce food waste?

this is the dumbest thing I ever herd lol. I provide food-scraps waist bunch of energy to process it, my guess is few kW/day and I have to pay a subscription to mail it somewhere where they package it and sell it as a mulch of some sort. if anything they should be paying you.

Exactly what I thought…food waste in landfills? Food is probably the fastest decomposing thing that you put in the garbage.
