This is the perfect opportunity to bring back Capture The Island game mode from Operation Flashpoint days. Glad they brought Everon back, it brought back so many memories. If you're not familiar with CTI you have a.i resistance in every town that you eliminate and take control of the town all while earning income for each town you control. There are two teams with each team having a Commander. The Commander is responsible for building a base that supplies the players with a barracks, vehicle factory, tank factory, and aircraft factory, The commander also is responsible for setting up base defenses. The base can be built where you want on the map, and you can even build multiple bases if needed. So, in short it becomes a game of track down the enemy base and destroy it to win or control every town on Everon for 2 minutes to win. Imagine 32 vs 32 players and then each player has 11 a.i soldiers under their control. Makes for massive fights and convoys.

Im so fucken happy someone else realises what this really is and what it's aiming for, MFCTI was the fucking shit - I've wanted to develop a similar title designated to CTI, Crime City/Nogville, SerialKiller and the many many game-types that ONE game single-handedly with the support of easily the most creative and dedicated communtiy of modders any title has ever seen. ofpec/ ofp.info - man those we're the fucking days! If anyone remembers a player named Bloodomen (me), TheBoB, GORE, Terminator, or the many faces of the the {GOL} Gurilleas Of Liberation clan started by Lt.Chris and although I dont think he still takes lead of the entire thing having probably a life I give the man credit where credit's due, how many clans truly exist for over two decades and what 4-6 title releases if you include Resistance etc, into ArmA 1-3. Also Unknown coming from PlayerUnknownbs PUBG being part of that clan and taking the similar idea of a game type created within OFP 2001 and creating a single unique expeerience of that mode into it's own game that's spawned the ever so popular Battle Royale games of this era, and BR wasn't even one of the top five types of modes created in the original game/engine/community. There was so much love and heart poured into it. Reforger is getting closer to that original vibe, I'll probably pick it up again after refunding the dogshit alpha-state it was in a few months ago, but the 1.0 update truly has made leaps of improvements. And fuck it feels badass to be back on Everon, likely Malden, Kolgujev, Desert Island but where i REALLY WANT to return is to pay my respect to Victor Troska in the dunes of the Airfield where he saved the people of Nogova. F

I was happy about the Dayz mod in Reforger, but when I realized that it was developed by a server alone and that they also focused on traders etc., I was disappointed. release the mod so that anyone can make a server. They focus on "modded dayz" with traders and all that stuff. I also prefer to play on servers with traders but would like to have some vanilla experience before it starts

They should have know better than to be there. 1pp is just a really fun experience. In order to gain information you have to risk being seen. Which is 50% of surviving pvp.

well even without much zombies i shit myself due to environmental effects..its so dark and the lighting effects are much better than in dayz but of course it needs more content and improvements to draw people fully in..in reforger flares or flashlights have so much better effects and night in general feels much better and makes it more scary
