I understand you. One of the biggest reasons for me to get a 3DS was to catch a buneary to evolve her into "It's a Lopunny, Batman, there is no law against the pokemon", but tbh, I don't know which one of them like more carefree, super cute bunny, or thick, thirst trap of a pokemon. Btw, Espur is the only true competition to buneary. Pichu? Eevee? Nah. Rowlet? Maybe.

Fun fact: I am making a group of pokemon that combine espurr and meowstic with feathered dinosaurs. Everything from sinocalliopteryx to anzu is a distinct species, with the espurrs representing the hatchling and juvenile stages in the creature’s lifetime, while meowstic represents the adolescent to adult stages. Some have highly iridescent coats of feathers, while others are colored to match the habitat the real life creature lived in. Others have wattles and other soft tissue display structures. All have their own unique personality: for example, the meowstic equivalent of deinonychus are dark-psychic type and often aggressively mob and harass other Pokémon for their food in large flocks, and are often aggressive during feeding, even amongst their siblings!

Saw this video and clicked immediately, about halfway through and I love it. Espurr is actually my favorite pokemon too. I wasn’t sure what it was about her, but it’s probably just EVERYTHING. Never hunted anything much in the main games but I did just get a shiny Espurr during Go Fest in Pokemon Go this weekend. I was feeling so discouraged on Day 1 and her hour was about to end when k said please and gave my phone a kiss. I don’t know why I did this, but she was shiny. If anyone will appreciate that, judging by this video, it’s you. Cheers mate.

Espurr actually has a pretty important role in Super Mystery Dungeon's story, at least if you asked me lol. Say what you want about X/Y but the Pokemon introduced are peak. The Goomy line are my favourites and have been since I found them in X.
