Reishi is so magical. I don't even have to look for it. It came into my yard this year. Shitake mycelium is strong too. I have a small block of tree trunk growing in my shower lol. I stood the chunk up on a small board for support and now they can't be separated.

The city I'm in I seen it low on a tree like a crispy fresh tortilla chip, seen it as big & little blobs on some log stumps & some lawns get a little here there or a lot often. I have used a bunch b4. Last yr had a great find in one spot that just seems to always have them. I actually have a big one too hard to use from 2021 as like a display piece. WhAt I normally do with em is crock pot hot water infuse with 🌱🌿,🍄 & ginger sometimes or alone. Water I have used for soup broth b4 & will use it for my reishi, store bought hot cacao chocolate drinks & too brew coffee & tea. Might of drank on own b4. Can be too bitter in mushy state & latter too hard for easy eating.✌🍄🤗💖

a note about the mushroom growing from the toilet from an experienced contractor and fungi nerd. I agree that it is a Ganoderma species however it's extremely unlikely that the mushroom came thru the drains. it's far more likely that the mycelium was developing on the wooden subfloor under the tiles due to moisture from a leaky wax ring seal under the toilet. subflooring is often made of hardwoods like birch and is a very good environment for rapid mycelial growth(with adequate moisture). I once tore out a similar tile from a pizza kitchen and in the process found several small groups of dried yellow oyster mushrooms that had grown throughout the entire kitchen subfloor in the four years since it was installed, deteriorating the subfloor so much that it tile no longer adhered to the subfloor beneath.

@FreshCapMushrooms

in terms of medicinal use, they need to be "cracked open" (mechanically or through CO2 extraction) and then they can be used like any other resihi supplement. They contain triterpene and other beneficial compounds.

Lions mane mycelium is fragile and easily contaminated. Shitake mycelium also turns brown like Reishi does also. I have never tried it but I'm sure those Reishi metabolites are incredibly medicinal. AHCC or Active Hexos Correlated Compound, a polysaccharide mycelial extraction, saved my life literally. It, plus Reishi and Turkey Tail, helped me clear a virus that always leads to cancer if not cleared. I was on the biopsy table right before I started the therapy. Western medicine had nothing to do with this viral clearance. Their solution was to wait to surgically treat until the cancer developed and I was right on the cusp being biopsied in multiple locations. Today I am alive and well. No viruses and I never did develop cancer. I also started growing my own mushrooms, many species, and I never stopped taking them. I also create myco-medicinal products for those around me, including those with HIV, who do very well with Maitake. Maitake takes a long time to grow just like Shitake and Reishi do.

Wow thanx for sharing! Yea they really are powerful medicine, ive read papers proving they successfuly treated cancer and hiv with shiitake extracts, also any mushroom boosts and trains the immune system cuz the immune system reacts like it would when faced with a harmfull fungus, so its like training ur muscles in the gym lol

At the time, she and my stepdad only said "don't talk to us about crazy crystals or mushrooms or crap like that. We don't have time for (fairy tales)" 😥 Oh well Mom. She always was weird with her "logic". So very very glad more are following your logic, and trying it anyway. Good to have you here!🤩 So very very good of you to help others, thank you so much!!! Hope you don't run into many like Mom, who won't LET you help🤞🤞🤞

It would greatly benefit you to look into the actual scientific evidence that's been published about viruses causing diseases. Look beyond the narratives and search out viral isolation and purification. Also see if you can find ANY publications that have a proper scientific controlled study that definitively shows any viruses causing disease, ever. I've been looking for years and have never found one and a couple of Nobel Laureates have published their lack of discovery of this very foundational tale that we've been told to be true

He offers a free ebook at the end. Remember to get it. The airfilter is the source of the Oxygen in the bag. That is what the reishi was doing. It isnt any more rocket science than that a plant grows towards the sunlight. You are genuine and enthusiastic. I have a need to add the science. (source: was a bio major)

@@FreshCapMushrooms I see, it's just from the picture it looks like it's growing from the gap between the toilet and the tiles but you're right it's hard to know for sure. Could be a crack in the porcelain that's causing damp in the wood floor boards, which could of then lead to Reishi growing through the crack in the toilet and out of the drain. There's a somewhat relevant video I saw recently by Journey to the Microcosmos about toilet drain ecosystem if you've not seen it I recommend it.
