The 1st time I witnessed my ex narcs mask come off was a life changing moment for me. He turned from loving to cold and demonic in a split second. It was as if he was possessed and nobody was home inside of him. It was so frightening that I said to him....babe its me...babe its me! I thought saying that would snap him out of the demonic state of mind he was in. Little did I know....that was who he really was. Lord help us all...we live amongst human demons. Lyndie X he was upset about something he felt that I had done weeks prior. He pretended that he wasnt mad and then bam!!!! One morning Demon boy showed up...he was emotionless, had dead dark eyes, and his voice even changed. Lord, I couldnt accept what I was experiencing. In my mind...it wasnt really real. How could someone that displayed themselves as a sweet, loving, person be this damn evil???? I have nvr seen anything like it in my entire life. It was like what you see in horror movies.

I remember when he left me,he told me that the move he was making to be with this other woman wasn't about Love!!!!! He said it was about making life better for himself because she could offer him more than I could material wise! He said he loved the lifestyle that he was living with her! I am a living testimony of the power of God's healing!!!! The Hell I went through was unimaginable!!!! God can give you beauty for ashes& I am a living testimony of that!!!! Doreen Augsburger-Lane my ex husband took this to the extreme. We were at Disneyland with our young child (probably 3 or 4 years old). He walks so very fast and bulldozes thru the crowds leaving me way behind. He always walked way ahead of me allowing doors to slam in my face even when I was carrying diaper bags, purse, toys, shopping bags, car seat and or my child maybe pushing stroller but usually just holding our son. He wouldn’t think twice about whether or not we were ok back there- he is almost 6 ft 3 whereas I am only 5 ft 2. His legs much longer than mine so he covered ground a lot faster. Anyways, on this particular trip to Disneyland he was especially hurtful, inconsiderate and mean. He wanted to distance himself from me I guess and barreled his way thru the crowds so forcefully that he actually pushed an old lady down! I am not kidding or exaggerating. She stumbled and fell to the hard concrete. He did not even so much as skip a beat but kept on. I see this unfold infront of me and as I get to the woman to help her up I apologize profusely for my husband. I do not recall what excuse I made for him but he must have heard me or noticed other people stopping. He got in my face and with the angriest most hateful voice screamed at me not to ever apologize for him. I’m not certain but think he said something about it being a sign of weakness. I was so horrified by it all and by how distorted and angry his face was, his knuckles white, he appeared to have been shaking a little. It was scary. I’ll always remember that moment. That’s when I realize how truly evil and fucked up he was.

It's the cycle of dead love because it only provides the illusion of "love". The funny thing is that just when you make progress your mind goes into preservation mode and yearns for the "comfort" of that relationship again...which is really self sabotage. So you can want better for yourself yet do things to sabotage your peace at the same time..and this adds to the craziness you feel.

I did a study on a narcissist when I did psychiatry in 3ed year and you are very right in the things you say. lastly I've experienced them. and it's so funny how they can alter your emotions just like that. it took me a while to notice the pattern, that once they set in, you lose control over your emotions. and it's always been a problem with me, because I'm super strong willed, I don't like losing control over my identity. so i put my guard up and many of them have attested to how I'm hard to crack. I won't lie sometimes I realize after a while. but God has always made me wiser. I learnt to pray over every encounter of relationships with men & God's been faithful. I'd urge you to pray all the time before engaging in a relationship. because on your own, you won't identify these toxic minds

You have to let the Lord protect you. Spent to many years in a narcissistic ( marriage). I'm free now and I'm very guarded. Dated a narcissist years later and he slowly got very upset about not being able to make me feel like I was less than him. I heard what he said and how he said it, I also saw what he did and didn't do. His words and actions spoke volumes to me, and what I saw was not the image he intended me to see. I decided to show him that he could not bend me left or right emotionally, I can show you better than I can tell you, so that's what I did. I began to spew out my emotional strength in my actions. Verbally I only let him know that I thought he was emotionally void, and he still did not realise I saw him for who he is . When handled it this way I didn't have to go through the process of him wasting time trying to make me feel unfit for a better man. He was glad to bail out. He was so smart, he was to stupid to know I saw him. What he did know is I could not supply him with fuel. Game over and I'm Cracking Up. You MUST take the time to get to know you and love you for who you are. Know that without them being whole enough to at least like themselves, if not love who God has created in them they have nothing to give you. Know that without you being fuel to keep that demon running and ruining your environment they have no need for you. YEA, tell God thank you!

Everything you said is 1000% on point. The only thing that was different for me is apologizing. Out of the five years I’ve dealt with a narcissist I did not receive one single apology or nothing. Not my bad, I’m sorry.... NOTHING!!! He would die first before he apologized for his behavior. My son's father is a narcissist. Before I met him, I was the sweetest person. After creating a soul tie with him, I began to take on his characteristics. I went through post pardum depression for a year and a half after my son was born so I was already in a weakened state of mind and I would constantly reaffirm him while he would put me down. I helped him further himself and fell into a bad place financially and now he looks down on me as though I am the scum of the earth. Thanks for sharing because this is real and needs to be exposed.

@@shantal5515 It depends on which disorder they have. A Borderline is driven by the fear of abandonment and there is therapy that can help them. A Narcissist is addicted to drama and they have very little hope. A narcissist can get therapy, but usually uses therapy to get better at manipulation and other tactics. They need a therapist who is very familiar with narcissism. It takes self reflection, the want to change, and actual repentance for a narcissist to change. If Borderline is comorbid with narcissism, it depends which disorder is dominant and other factors.

Lil Mama Trust me, I know. I am a survivor and I sense you are also. Here is some support I hope it helps: I think the narcissist talking too much not so innocent. The story we hear over and over is them enforcing their false image on a victim by repetition, like brain washing. It can also be simply “filler”, white noise, as they appear to be very uncomfortable with silence. I think the “over talking”is also, a conscious attempt to keep your thought on that particular individual. Thoughts are the first steps in self and situational assessment. A narcissist understands the power of thoughts as he always using his thoughts to plot. (Ever noticed they would directly ask you what you are thinking about)He then consciously, and by design either control or interrupt the thoughts of his or her victim. For example, I would meditate but be aware of all that was being done, “by accident” to break my focus from silence and self. I slowly opened my eyes and caught him in the act of causing subtle but a constant interruption. When you pretend to be in deep meditation, it can be a great vantage point from which to look at them and analyze without their knowledge or gaslighting. You will see how uncomfortable silence and self confidence makes them. To be free you have to witness silently, without confronting them, how much they lie for the smallest thing. And how far they would go to not take accountability. For example, you witnessed him at the side of your eyes drop a piece of litter. If he believes you did not see him, he would lie about doing it. If you told he you saw him, he will call you a liar or crazy. And truly try to convince you, that you are mistaken. As long as you are sure or what you saw, let those be the moments that set you free.Spirit is speaking. You know exactly what I mean🙏🏾
