I was yelling at you to play risk through the I of axil. It would have killed the last bingo chances, left one in the bag, and kept the i for qi.

me as well. surprised opponent didn't consider their endgame more. they had time to see if they had outs (or at least wins if they draw the q) with every possible tile before playing joins.

Interesting to consider if a change was appropriate at any point in this game. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but it seems a fresh rack might've been just the thing you needed at several points. Great game as always and a lucky win for you too!

i often wonder the merit of trading out the j, x, q, and z. the x in particular seems almost never worth trading and the z doesn't seem worth it to me either. likewise unless there's a dearth of u's and i's i don't feel the q is worth getting rid of either.
