Just a tip for people looking for tips and are new to the game, and want to play solo. 1) Hackclaw is the best Operator for Solo if you're new. She can sneak walk faster, and quieter, allowing you to easily sneak past NPCs without alerting them, and are EXTREMELY difficult to hear by other players as well, allowing you to sneak past a team much easier. 2) Pressing caps lock makes you "walk" While crouching this makes you "sneak" it makes your audio footsteps even more quiet. With HackClaw its basically zero audio, no way a player or NPC is going to hear you unless they're cheating. I've snuck up right behind players many times and executed them with a knife. 3) Talking about knives, she gets unlimited throwing knives on a cool down. 2 of them, these will 1 shot basic NPCs, allowing you to sneak around without making a sound even easier, for when one of them is about to blow your cover, or run up on you. Just throw and take him out without a sound. 4) Her Gadget helps alert you to how many players may be around you. If you hear footsteps you can check with it, and it'll let you know. The benefit of this over Lunas detection arrow is that it doesn't give away your position like the arrow will. It will also make a line showing you what direction they are, in a 360 degree radius. While Lunas Arrow is only 1 general direction, Hackclaws gadget will show you if you're surrounded, and the most likely way to sneak out undetected thanks to those lines. 5) HackClaws Flash Drone is a good last resort weapon for a solo player. If you find yourself in a corner or a really bad spot, the flash drone can blind players enough to let you get out in a tight spot, give you a slight edge on getting accurate shots off to knock one of them down and get out.

Honestly I feel like people that complain about rats should just play battle royales. Extraction games are about loot and survival. If a player wants to avoid gunfights just to get out alive, that's perfectly valid. When I'm playing with friends I'm the first person to go full Bernard "Let's Mug em!" (bonus points if you get that reference) when I hear gunfire, but solo? I play like a survival horror, listen, avoid, only fight if I can end the fight before they know what hit em. I'm not doing it for the kills, I'm doing it for the loot. And its not boring, the risk of a gunfight can be just as exciting as actually having one. its all about that tension. (with that said, I've become bolder over time and enjoy looking for PvP more, but I respect the rat, I've been there)

I agree.. I think streamers ruined the whole concept of the game genre to be honest, and all the brainless sheep that follow them. I've got into this argument countless times with people on the The Cycle Frontier discord, Dark and Darker discord, and other extraction looter games I've played.. Extraction looters are not about PvPing and fighting, that's an element of the game, not the main focus. The main focus is extracting and surviving, and allowing for there to be plenty of options to do so. If you want to play rambo, and want a game focused on fighting and running around a map, go play a Battle Royale.. that's the whole point of them is looting and fighting. It boggles my mind how this obvious fact goes so far over peoples heads.

@Cramblit yeah I have to agree. I LOVE the high risk PvP, but rarely do more than one or two fights in a match... Videos with titles like "I wiped the whole lobby" have really hurt the genre because so many people are determined to seek out and kill every player every match.

Dark and Darker, The Cycle Frontier, Marauders, etc.. I have to keep fighting for the game not to change into another PUBG battle royale, because people don't seem to comprehend the idea of an actual extraction looter, and they keep whining about things... like when people kept whining about sneaking being too quiet, and bushes being too easy to hide in in The Cycle Frontier by a bunch of cry baby streamers, they went and nerfed the crap out of it, so you couldn't sneak or get away stealthily anymore.. everyone HAD to play like a sweaty no life streamer to survive, and it killed the game. That's the point I'm making.

They apparently have no interest in adding solo queues to the game. So, a few solutions could be implemented: 1 - Introduce loot protection when playing in trios, even if it’s just for 30 seconds. I’m not an exceptional player, but many times I manage to take down one or two opponents, only to have my loot completely stolen. 2 - Add duo queues. Playing against three players is insane-almost impossible. I’ve tried countless times and managed to win a few, but the vast majority of matches end the same way: I take out one or two, only to die to the last one. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to face a duo. Once you eliminate the first opponent, it becomes a fair 1v1 (even if you’ve lost all your armor in the process, haha).

Purple gear and blue ammo is the sweet spot for Easy Mode which isn’t just for beginners but for experienced players. Not every experienced player is a sweat.

In a nutshell: - Go to places without safes only - Take Hackclaw with her stealth mod. - Loot "the garbage dumps" and secrets like hatches with rats and nests. Remember their location on the maps. - Avoid fighting. If the group sees that you are a solo player, you will be chased to the end of the map. - Take a gun with a scope. Sometimes this will allow you to assess the situation on the site from afar. - The recruit's ticket also works well. However, then you need to act even more safe.

You’re instantly putting yourself at a disadvantage if you play solo and if you’re not good at the game mechanically then you need to go play warfare until you’re atleast competent. I personally play solos but play like a normal player (I’ve played tarkov for 8 years) so unless you got the skills stick to 3 mans. You’re not playing the game differently unless that’s the play style you like and all you care about is making crazy money. My opinion is why have all that money if you’re not chadding out bringing in good ammo and gear?

Instead of removing Recruit gear ticket, the game should capped gear value at 400,000 or less for easy mode. I bring my new friends to try the game all the time and the recruit gear ticket is the best thing I can tell my newbie friends to use to learn about the game. I sometime run into a group with very serious gears, get instant kill with gold bullets that worth more than the recruit gear ticket we used. It is kinda funny to think how they will react when they loot our bodies. IMO, capping gear value for easy mode will make the game more friendly to new players and over all game environment. (eg. for average players who just want to finish the quests.)

Thry are capping Gear next Update! Purple Armor and Blue Ammo for easy. Both very affordable after some time and very manageable to take down players running that gear :)

Actually think it should just be capped by rarity. Gray-green-blue everything in easy . Spending a ton on a gun doesn’t really give you a huge advantage if everyone has blue bullets and it would be a nice come up if someone out plays you

@Geekseh if you're wondering the most silent guns in the game are the two russian AS-XXXX (one is an AR and the other one is a MR) with 100m hearing range, while the second tier of most silent weapons are pistols and a very few AR and SMG that have base 300m hearing range, with high supression muzzles can be downed to 150m.

@@MasterDrega Depends on the perception level and if the other players have helmets that increase or decrease hearing range. I'd say AT LEAST 50m in normal circumstances, but with the perception injector, hearing helmet etc I guess it can go up to 100 (need testing tho)

Using the previous loadout button is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than going to the auction house and choosing the cheaper almost new/damaged versions of armor. You can save hundreds of thousands on kits this way.

I believe that if you already have the gear, it picks from your stash. So a "solution" is to have a few extra items bought beforehand from the auction house. Maybe just the more expensive stuff like guns and armor.

I don't know why so many people keep complaining about game modes and tickets and everything. I think this game right now is really solid and the one queue system where you don't know if it's one, two or three people you're fighting makes it really intense and interesting. In my opinion the regular COD players joining need to adapt their playstyle, because as seasoned tarkov player this game and also fighting squads solo as Wolf is kinda easy in comparision. Just remember to change position quickly, take good shots and always keep the enemy guessing if it's their footsteps or are there more than one!

Maybe you are good buds but you cannot compare this solo to tarkov solo. That's apples and oranges for sure. Its so much harder to wipe a team in this game then tatkov. In tarkov so so many guns have one shot capabilities. They also don't have self revives. To act lime its super easy to wipe squads ahhhh I dunno about that man.

@ yeah the Instant kill with a headshot for sure is a nice mechanic. But the way faster heals and reloads in Delta Force makes it way easier. Also the map Design is much more open and you nearly always have a escape Route. Which you can than use To relocate and fix your west and helmet. And i wouldn‘t say wiping a squad per se is easy but easier in DF. And i think the key in fighting more than one enemy is To reposition often and fast and there is Wolf as Operator is key. Maybe you still won‘t agree with ne on my opinion, which is Fine, but i wouldn‘t Like the experience To be wartered down To much :)

Just switched from tarkov and I play solo. My first real raid I wiped 2 3 man teams as a solo. So yeah…. Imo the game is perfect how it is. If you decide to play slow and tactically engage fights, the time to kill practically makes 1v3s entirely possible especially if the enemy decides to split up a little. Drop the first guy and use his body as bait for the next two. Works like a charm.

I call it the scavenger/survivor technique Loot anything of high value, only get into gunfights when absolutely necessary and avoid players while going around outlines before moving in or extracting/bailing out of the area basically be in, loot high value items and be out before anyone sees or hears you and only pulling the trigger when absolutely necessary (as rick said in the walking dead film season 1 "you got to respect the weapon if you pull the trigger you mean it" or something like that I haven't seen that part of the walking dead film for years)

@geekseh I put the mentality of that quote from the walking dead film (which I feel lives up even within operations mode) with the ideology of be in and out as quickly and quietly as possible (very similar to the survivors from the walking dead films) and I feel people should remember that quote from the walking dead film which applies perfectly to operations mode "it's not a toy you got to respect the weapon if you pull the trigger you mean it" (rick from the walking dead season 1 episode 1 I think)

Quietest gun (beside pistols) is AS VAL, but quite expansive if you want it viable (lot of recoil...) otherwise it's CAR15 with it dedicated big silencer

The vss is integrally suppressed with a gun sound of 100m, I think it’s the most quiet weapon and it’s cheap. I just recommend buying the barrel for a 100k if you have the money because the bullet velocity is relatively slow. But other than that it’s one of my favorite weapons for solo. Pair it with a g18 and you actullay have a decent PvP kit too

@ esentially shooting in general is really bad in terms of sound. Another reason why i only play hackclaw since the beginning. Her knives are really op in my opinion for that exact reason and that you can spot players behind walls. Im even going that far to rather blind and knife the bots instead of shooting. But 100m is actually acceptable range in my opinion, all above 200m is useless in my opinion. of course they can still hear you inside the poi if you shoot with the vss if they are close outside of it but for example if you shoot in cement plant with the vss, the people in admin and even baracks wont hear it in most cases.

I’m a solo player and the only real problem I have is that the game takes FOREVER to find a match if at all. So I end up having to squad fill to join a match and then my teammates run straight to the high traffic areas get downed and expect me to 1v3 a team and res them.

Vyron is pretty handy as a solo player. You can boost yourself out certain places, which are normally deathtraps, and get to very sneaky rat spots. + the ult and mag bombs (at close range, like inside buildings) can guarantee a kill

AKS - 74 is VERY quiet when suppressed, it’s very cheap, ammo is cheap, basically only needs a p-mag and optic, and green ammo 1-shot head taps bots. It’s super under rated and extremely cheap to run.

Better all the time, going from top to bottom even if spawned aroung chirch or farm and have close to u extraction point, run to oppsoite, there much more loot in that way, less fights. There so much birds nestrs u missed during 9:55 in that way dude, some times, like safes not looted in 2 spots. all the time around hotel inside river no one loooting, or not loot everything, a lot times i passing near by, looted area and seeing not opened crates, omg dude, i found them so much golden and red items. I feel like recruit gear is ok the way it is if you match them with others with te same recruit gear, make no sense to find teammates that don’t give a fuck about dying just running like crazy to get to the safe boxes first to loot and get a profit while others are running more expensive gear, not when there is no loot protection and no way to share the good loot of boxes, it’s like a no way of loosing money for them while you have to pay attention to not die and lose 200k, 300k or even more.

@@geekseh I agree, gear tickets are good, but there sould be some specific match making for them, not in wich match they go in, but with who. When I want to do some fast quest in spots where I know I can die really easy, I use them! But, i always go solo becouse I feel guilty of ruining other players experience, and I feel that happend to me when I get matchet with those and I have gear to look for PvP. Gray bullets are uselles and almos no one run the 50k ticket with the blue ones, thats my concern.

You said they’re adding limits to easy mode? I just think this is the wrong way to go about it. They honestly just need to get rid of the difficulties. Make everything 1 difficulty for all maps. 1 queue for every map. Instead of splitting up the player base into like 8 queues. You’ll have more variety of players in your lobbies and faster queue times. I sat in a 10 minute queue for layali easy the other day in the middle of the day. Then for “new players” just do a level locked queue like Tarkov everyone level 10 or 15 and below CAN not forced queue a new player queue. Limiting easy for the sake of “new players” is such a dumb excuse. Let me play the game how I want to play it. If I want to go in with a knife I should be able to. If I want to go in red out I should be able to. Then create other ways to bring down players that isn’t entirely reliant on good ammo. Yes you can shoot legs but with the way the damage drop off is setup it’s not always viable to leg someone. Flesh shots need to be more detrimental in other ways…. Also all the wall hack garbage abilities need to go for ops. They don’t belong in ops it feels so bad to play against especially as a solo with no way to counter it. Grenades shouldn’t be locked to operators. Grenades and smokes should just be consumables. The gear limit is just ridiculous you get access to every item in the game at level 2…. It’s an extraction shooter it’s not meant to be “fair” it’s risk versus reward not control how I can use my shit for the sake of fairness and new players. You even showcased a comment about some dude being upset about gear tickets. Running high dollar stuff in easy isn’t the most viable thing because you run into that you’re not even making your money back on what you shot off in ammo let alone the rest of your gear. If you consistently are then normal loot isn’t that much better than easy because everyone is going geared in easy over normal right? What’s the incentive for playing normal at that point. Which is why I think 1 difficulty 1 queue per map is the better option outside of a beginner level locked queue for zero damn only

Just no, there is defiantly a BIG difference between normal and easy mode both in loot and geared players. Sure there are some idiots who need some easy kills for their mental because they can’t accept playing against their own gear and skill level. But most people see it exactly as you said. It’s not really worth going with a 800k gear value in easy mode because essentially one mag of purple ammo is the equivalent of a recruit gear ticket. And there are way more new players on the easy maps. It would scare many people away if there is just one map with all the sweats. Longer queue times suck, I agree. Especially in the morning I had times when I found no game on layali grove easy (only queueing solo though). And there is no other way to differentiate because space city and barrakesh are unplayable as a solo. Also you can find a match on zero damn normal pretty much anytime of the day. Just layali grove is a bit harder at times.

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I actually like the tier system. It makes it so if you wsnt to get higher tier loot you need to put something up for it. You can't just hatchet run. Again not everyone will agree with everyone's thoughts and as much as I was scared of the hero shooter it's not as bad as I thought it was goong to be. In the end I really appreciate the thought out response and not just attacking someone that has a different opinion then you. Thanks for being a buds eh.

@@geeksehabsolutely man at the end of the day we’re all playing the same game but just want different things out of it. You are right the hero’s aspect isn’t that bad but it can just be extremely frustrating to be in certain situations that a grenade or smoke would be helpful but you’re just SOL because you picked someone else haha. Or when you’ve successfully sneaked up on a team that has no clue you’re there and then bam hack claw or arrow and all your work is just taken away from you at that point. I do enjoy the game a lot I just don’t know about the limits. If everyone is still running the cap limit of purple and blue ammo and the new players are running green or blue armor then we’re basically in the exact situation we are in now but with just purple and blue. But we’ll see how it goes

The absolute quitest guns are the VSS MR and the AS VAL RIFLE at 100m. next comes MOST pistols at 150m surpressed. i think a couple are h igher than 150 supressed, like 210.
