I have time and discipline. I’m putting myself through a hellish routine to work towards my goal. I feel lost at times but I remember the end goal: to raise people out of hell. I will succeed and I’m praying for the succeed of the people watching this video.

I'm currently striving towards a promotion at a job where I push myself 12+ hours physically to a point of sometimes where I cry after work. Even if it's a successful day, being so tired and sometimes psychologically abused by others slowly grinds you down like sandpaper throughout the shift. My body hurts and my mind is in a loop of brutal rumination, stress, and depression which slowly recovers during the weekend before starting over again. No one fully understands what I'm going through and I'm alone and have no one to talk to. I tend to have lots of shallow on surface relationships that never progress. I haven't had any real friends since I was 15 and I'm 29. Life is definitely kicking me in the the balls daily but I'm not giving up. I will keep striving to improve myself while at the same time maintain sense of contentment to always appreciate the present and be grateful for everything I currently have in life. Videos like these help me stay sane and keeps my clarity sharp. Thanks.

I think a lot of guys need to hear this right now. There are very little avenues of help for our own mental suffering and we are supposed to "figure it out,"because "that's what men do." A lot of times, people say that men are afraid of seeking help because they do not want to lose their masculine image, but that is not the exact reason. Rather, we are scared of not being taken seriously enough, that the people we show comfort towards will not do the same in times of need. I find this to be true for a majority of my relationships. Maybe that's just me because many of the people I know are really self-involved and continue to be after I help them through their struggles. I've been in a place where I had no idea who to talk to and it sometimes tends to worsen the mental stress that I endure. I would ask, "do people care about me? why is it so difficult to find someone who cares? am I the only normal one? does that make me abnormal? should I get a therapist and not tell anyone?" Here's the thing. There are millions of more just like me, just like you. When we have no one else, come back to this video and remember that we have each other. I hope that whatever you're going through, be it so minimal or large, that you know we care. You will eventually get through it. On a final note, mental suffering can come in many forms. You may be stressing about school, a partner, money, a friend, your social standing, abuse, or anything that may cause you to think in a self-deprecating way. I understand that your problems don't have to be worse than another person's to cause you pain. Anything can hurt us, it just depends on your subjective priorities. So I say this: I see you. You've come all this way, you've dealt with much of the same, and you'll continue to do so and see that the grass is always greener on the other side of discomfort. I hope this finds you well. Just promise yourself and all the people who come here that you won't take your affliction too seriously. I love you. We love you. Make the most of today if you're feeling it, but if not, try again tomorrow - the key is to never stop trying.

The best arc in Ashita no Joe, is when he has to fight the boxer from Korea. The boxer was a child during the Korean War, and uses that pain to fuel his desire. In boxing, you often need to make weight by cutting calories. In the anime, this boxer is starving himself, and invites Joe, who he is set to fight against, to lunch. He doesn’t eat anything as a way of showing Joe how determined he is, even though he is already starving. I hope Ashita no Joe gets a series release in North America.

Legit no cap. I don't think I've ever listened to a video on repeat more than this one. It's like...whenever I needa snap out of it and get focused on my path, this video comes in clutch every...single...time. Without fail. It reminds me how simple life is at the core of everything. Setting the mind toward that one goal, that one dream, the most bare concept even a child could comprehend, and yet, the way this video expresses it resonates and hits the soul in such a way that could never work if I was told to just "follow my dreams." Gravemind you are truly a legend for this video and I think it's destiny for anyone walking the stormy path toward their dreams to eventually stumble upon this video as I once have. One day at a time. It starts with your mind. Creating good thinking habits. That will pour over into your actions. Practice breathing to help lose everything. Anxiety pain etc. do what you know is right for you. Exercise, love others, more importantly, love yourself first so you can then love others. Surround yourself with people that want to see you win. Understand that nothing is yours, you can’t change anything, life is all about reaction. What do you do when something happens. You got it. Put your head down and go. In the silence of the innermost cave we find ourselves. You will be alone in this part of the journey except for the great obsession in your soul to push forward regardless of the opposition that dwells there. Keep going, don’t stop.
