Your video is perfect timing as I’m sitting in a small village with rolling hills, castles, grapevines, chickens and even a horse drawn carriage that drove past our villa. Halley I just found your channel and feel so blessed to see this topic on KZbin -- there are so many 'slow living back to the land homesteaders' out there who seem to be playing a role. I am so happy to hear you speak openly about your faith and God, such an unpopular topic in this secular culture. Please show yourself in the kitchen, preparing food or doing your chores - I'd also love if you made a video about your testimony, how and when you came to Christ in such a devout way. This is so great! I have to ask... do you feel like you could live this kind of a slow Christian life in a busy city? I'm in Los Angeles! So true that we need to make time and space to be with Him. What part of Idaho are you in? I have family near Boise - we were just up there in July. Beautiful state!

Thank you so much, that’s awesome you were just here! We live in the heart of Boise on half an acre :). We moved from the SFV area in 2020 and haven’t looked back! We miss Cali but love it here. And I do feel like you could live a slower life in the city but you would have to be more intentional. I know some people who have a backyard homestead on a small plot/yard lol. We had started to make the transition to slow living when we still lived there, our souls were craving it! Thanks for watching!
