What really gets to me about this movie isn't even the fact that Jack Black is in it, but the fact that they made him Steve. It feels like they took his and Jason Momoa's roles, and switched them around just to see what would happen.

It would be interesting to see the roles swapped, but even then the 4 extra characters are just confusing and dont fit in. If it was Jason Momoa alone ass steve, I think it could work.
