4:43 was insane ppl didn't even know what happened, they thought x skipped the video. he threw a pearl, changed the render distance so i guess it doesn't hit then got another rod. he then changed the render distance back and the pearl instantly hit. insane knowledge.

Render distance determines how much the game renders. While objects are not rendered, they do not move or register for the player. He first throws the pearl far beyond 2 chunks, then changes his render distance to 2. This makes the game not render beyond 2 chunks, which the pearl was currently at. Hence, the pearl does not land. When he's done with blazes, he then turns up his render distance, allowing the chunk the pearl is in to render and therefore landing the pearl for him. This is a common strat and people use it to save time waiting for the pearl to land.

it was a pearl hang, he threw a pearl before that point and lowered his render distance so even tho the pearl traveled the chunk it landed on was not loaded in and so it didnt take him there, he then increased his render distance at the time stamp u showed and so then the chunk loaded so he teleported.
