I'm thinking that the "72% of profits kept in Australia" is weasled by not making local profits (and therefore not paying tax). Company is billed by overseas office for "fees" that negate local profit, therefore almost no profit by local office and so not much needs to be kept in Aust.

Being sedimentary rock doesn't exclude something from being a mineral or created from minerals The reason that coal isn't a mineral is because of the organic components

Really disappointed in the persuasiveness or lack of it. Honestly, if I didn’t already know what you were talking about, I would have lost interest in a couple of commentators joking about nothing important. You’re not calling at lies with any degree of force. All a bit of a joke and nothing to be upset by. Any wonder that they can get away with it. The ? Council demonstrated how to get their message across. The message I got was that I should be looking for someone else to support. There was no changing of minds for me, in a positive sense 😢

The QLD government uses coal royalties to pay for expensive vote grabs - like temporary 50 cent public transport. Plenty of alternatives to Australian coal supply like Indonesia and Russia. Asian demand won't stop. Fossil fuel consumption reached record levels last year (the trend is upward). Killing off large export earners like coal means significantly less for hospital and schools. State governments will *_still_* find themselves loaded with self-inflicted multi-billion dollar debt despite resource royalty windfall !

How can you have "climate obstruction"? More BS. Take a look around you, yeah you, the presenters and tell us what surrounds you in the area that you are broadcasting this from, and the means to broadcast to everyone and point out to us what didn't originate from either mining, or some other extraction process. I'd really like you to explain to all how you would go about doing this without mineral ect extraction.
